I'm looking for recommendations for fertility experts in Perth. My GP has referred me to Margo Norman (I'm in the Northern Suburbs) but I can't get an appointment there until October! I'm going to book it but I thought I'd call around some more to see if I can get anywhere else sooner, but I'd prefer to go somewhere recommended.
Any advise appreciated.

Have you called fertility north? It's the fertility clinic at Joondalup. Thats where we went. They have heaps of Dr's. Margo is one of them. She is now my ob. I saw Dr Katherine Nixon as my fertility specialist..she was great. I'm not sure if she is still there as she was pg when she was treating me. Give them a call anyway and see how you go. Good luck

Thanks Lesley76. Yep Fertility North is where I was referred to but like I said the first appointment I can get is October. I've now booked into Pivet in Joondalup (a friend used them in Leederville), and have an appointment 10th August so

seeking recomendation for fertility specialist who has experience with older women.
i am new to this site. can anyone recommend a fertility specialist in Perth who is good with helping older couples? i am 43.5 and i have had 3 pregnancies in past 2 years with IUI (2 were this year) but i've lost them all due to random chromosomal abnormalities... likely due to my egg quality. i tried IVF once recently and it yielded only one embryo which failed on transfer. just tried IUI again and it didn't work. I am starting to really feel things are not looking good. I heard Margo Norman is good but i expect the wait to see her will be too long. I am with Hollywood Fertility since i began trying just over 2years ago.
it's so difficult.
any information would be appreciated.

I can't fault concept fertility. They also seem to be much cheaper than most others.

Has anyone heard of Keogh Institute at SCGH?
Just wondered if anyone has heard of the Keogh Institute at Charles Gairdner Hospital? I understand that the fertility expert is a reproductive endocrinologist...
Does anyone know if they're good?

I had terrible experiences at fertility north under dr Norman. I moved to dr Manu ambekar at concept and I just love going there. She is an absolute pro. Kind caring and highly skilled. Concept clinic overall has been excellent in every department. From secretaries to nurses to the medical director dr burton to my specialist dr ambekar. Fantastic!
