How did ET go Shazzy? I really hope you're happy PUPO right now.
ShazieB - They used to have more problems with defrosting embryos several years ago, but embryologist have really come a long way. I wouldn't worry at all. Day 5 embryos are usually much stronger and able to survive the thawing process than earlier embies. I'm that yours not only survive the thaw, but also continue to grow and at least one implants for you.
Bronte - Yuck, bruises! I hate those darn things.
OBD - Good luck on the scan Wed. I hope this week is a lot less stressful for you too.
ll78 - So glad that your FS is on board about stepping things up this cycle. Sounds like you're in good hands.
spud - So sorry that this month didn't work out. I know how frustrating it can be when our bodies have different plans for us than our brain does. As far as your lining goes, has your FS talked to you about baby aspirin? It really does wonders for building up a lining for me.
CONGRATULATIONS MrKen!!! I remember you from the men's thread that my husband was on during our FET cycle in January. I'm so glad to hear that you and your wife are now expecting! That's fabulous! Please feel free to post on this thread and keep us posted on how things are going.
AFM - Had sono on Thurs (your Fri) and not only was the cyst still there, it was even larger!!! It is now over 40mm. I guess it's just not the right time yet. I will go back on the 27th (because everything good happens on the 27th) and see how things are going. If it's smaller then we will move forward. If it's not, we'll just hang out waiting a little while longer. No complaints on my end. I have a ton of painting to finish and I'm loving getting my house in order. We're cleaning things out, organizing, and getting ready for our anticipated upcoming pregnancy.
A HUGE to everyone else. I hope you're all doing well.

RWS - hope all goes well with ur insem .
Lindylou - yay for new program and drugs, lets hope this all helps to getting your BFP!
ShazieB - thankyou for your kind words but honestly you are the amazingly brave one. with catching O and defrosting you little ones.
Shazzymoo - yay for being PUPO!!
OBD - sorry you had a stressful week at work, is it holiday time yet? And yay for jabbing!
Bronte27 - love Robe too, it's only a few hours from where we live. with your scan and remember after you have jabbed, try not to rub the area as that is what can cause the bruising.
To all the other ladies, hope your having a good week and we can start to see some BFP soon!
AFM - spoke to nurse last week and they think i didn't ovulate or get a decent lining because i have a big cyst. So have to wait for AF to show and then do an internal scan on day 3 of my cycle (gross) if cyst gone can start next cycle if not will probably have surgery to remove it. Seriously this never ends does it some days but am trying very hard to just breath through it and focus on next month.

Forever27 - opps sorry must of missed your post or we posted at similar times! Sorry your cyst is still there and getting bigger, will they considering removing it like they will with mine if still there? Yes it is frustrating when our bodies don't work like we want them too! Every month wasted is terrible no matter how long TTC i guess just getting more frustrated as not getting any younger! xx

RWS - hope your insem goes ok today. Have fingerscrossed for you.
spud - hugsto you - hope you have (had?) a greattime celebrating your friend's birthday - it's good to be able to let your hairdown. Fingers crossed - the cyst willdisappear by itself so you can quickly move on next month.
lindylou - it can't hurt to try something new - good luckwith the new regime!
shazieb - thanksfor the well wishes - I recovered very quickly from the EPU. I hope your littleguys defrost without incident. It soundslike you've had a rough trot and you deserve for this to go right for you. Goodluck

bronte72 -keep those follies growing and good luck on Thursday! Growing vibes coming yourway!
forever27 -I bet the 27th can't come quick enough - shrinking vibes for you!
chicparis -fingers crossed for you on your TWW - I'm with you in enduring the wait.
AFM - ET yesterday - they implanted a day 3 embieof 'good' quality. Embryologist said that it was going a little slower than shewould like - 5 cells at transfer (but 2 cells almost ready to divide) and verylittle fragmentation - all within normal limits for day 3. As for the process itself - bloody hell!!! FSwas rough getting in there - they almost had to hold me down! After that though I was able to relax for theactual transfer. DH didn't really want to be there... but he did a great jobholding my hand :-x. Also did theacupuncture thing before and after - so now I guess I am PUPO and sitting outthe TWW!!

RWS - Thinking of you today
Bronte72 – Sounds like you had a lovely relaxing weekend. Fingers crossed we get fab news Wednesday and Thursday.
Forever27 – I have everything crossed for the 27th.. Lets hope the cyst gets smaller or even better packs it’s bags and moves on out.
Spud – I think I'm in much need of a holiday... don’t think it will be appreciated with work as it’s crazy atm.
I’m so sorry about the cyst and hope AF visits you very soon. Totally understand your frustration. Maybe you should treat yourself for a massage or something special.
Shazzymoo – Yay for the 2ww!!!!!! Lots of for you
AFM - Still jabbing away and waiting for scan Wednesday. I need to have a chat to the FS on Wednesday as he wants to do a 2 day transfer. I’m a little worried it may be too early. I hear lots of people do 3-5 day transfer but not many 2 day ones.
At my QFG they only operate Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I just keep telling myself he’s being paid to treat me the best way so I have to put trust into them I guess. I have a terrible habbit of overthinking everything 24/7
Have a good week all

Lindylou - Yay for the extras.. I’ve got no idea what they are but I’m glad to hear you are excited by them.
ShazieB – Wow, I didn’t get that bloated thank goodness! Yay that O didn’t happen unnoticed!
Shazzymoo – YAY for being PUPO! Good luck in the TWW, we can keep each other sane (or insane) Glad to hear the embie was good! Not so great about the FS being a bit too rough
OBD – Sorry to hear work is stressing you out . I was actually just reading about 2-day transfers! Not that it applies to me, but I was trying to find out exact timing or fertilization and implantations etc, and stumbled across an article from a local IVF clinic that mainly does 2 days ones, they call the “cleavage” transfers.
Bronte- The bruises are badges of honour! I wish I had a few more so I could have taken a few pics to ad to the scrapbook I’m building for bub!
Forever – Sorry to hear about the horrid cyst still being there I’ll be sending you shrinking vibes
Spud – Sorry to hear about your cyst!! I agree its yuck to have a scan on CD3! Glad you are trying to keep your chin up, there are SO many downs in this crazy infertility gig!
AFM - Insem went well!! A bit of (painful) trouble finding my cervix which decided to be difficult, but otherwise it went smoothly!
DH went up to the business end to watch the action... he saw the speculum go in, FS called him to come right up to the entry and pointed out my cervix! He moved pretty quickly back up to my head to hold my hand after that
The catheter (now known as Mr Stingy) stung heaps! I started cramping almost instantly, It was bad for hours, but has now subsided. I'm only getting intermittent cramps now, and it really hurts to wee
But I'm now in my very first TWW! (Well, the first since being unceremoniously dumped into this infertility boat!)

So nice to have some company in the TWW now, with Shazzymoo and RWS.
I've just been catching up on a couple of pages but won't be doing many personals as I can never remember where everyone is up to. I just wish you all the best of luck.
Could we maybe have an updated roll call so we all know what is going on with everyone? that would really help keep up!
Forever27, as Spud said, why don't they remove it? You could be wasting some precious weeks waiting for the cyst to go down. I've had a cyst removed 3 times, and I remember the first time we were also hoping it would go down, and after 3 months it was 80mm (about the size of a tennis ball) and my Dr said it just had to come out (that also when we found out I had endo). After that, I never waited again!

Spud - it sucks that things weren't in place this month, but good on you for looking on the positive side. October is THE month! Hope the cyst buggers off by itself!
RWS - how are the cramps going now?welcome to your first and hopefully last (until number 2 anyway) TWW.
Lindylou - yay for trying something new. I hope those extra drugs make the all important difference for cycle number 5!
Shazieb - my only frostie from 4 stim cycles is still frozen so I can't offer any reassurance on how they defrost. I'm too chicken to defrost!
Our baby dreM - how are you going with the puregon? I found I always get a little more bruised with those.
Bronte72 - I found a more shallow angle helped me bruise slightly less, but only slightly!
Forever - was there ever a doubt in your mind your scan would be on e 27th?
Shazzymoo - welcome to the TWW! One of the ladies on another thread Forever and I hang out on had one of the most fragmented embies they'd ever seen - he's now two and super cute! So you never can tell!
Hi to anyone else I've missed!
AFM - well I'm jabbing away and just waiting for another blood test on thursday. Added in some CoQ10 to my vits and DHEA and have ordered some high potency royal jelly and melatonin. Hitting everything!!!
Keeping myself vvvv busy by making a to-scale 3D 'Hoot' cake for our mothers group 2nd birthday party. I may have bitten off more than I can chew...

Hey lovely ivfers, just a quick one from me. Good news, found out yesterday that o is finally here! I'm booked in for a FET for Saturday! Yay! Has anyone else done acupuncture along side your ivf? Just wondering what the deal us, when do they recommend you have the acupuncture?
Hope everyone is kicking that infertility butt!!
