Yay for the blood tests Chic! Keep up the resting!!! I'm all twisted up like a pretzel for you!
AFM - cruising along with all the 'right' symptoms.. feeling a little nervous for my first ultrasound tomorrow... we will be 8w4d... hoping we see a strong heartbeat! Will be good to check if there is one or two in there based on everyone's reactions to my bloods... ultrasound at 4 if OB running on time (hoping that no-one decides to want to have a baby tomorrow.. or if they do that they can push quickly!) hate having late afternoon appointments cos you just know you're going to be waiting an extra 30-45 mins! Anyway hope to let you know the outcome ASAP... love sharing news with you guys!
Hope everyone else is swimming along nicely.. we seem to have gone into a quiet lull at the moment... waiting for the new year to bring new appointments and news!

Chic - Oh the bleed must have scared the pants off you! But so glad it stopped and your levels have doubled! Hope you have a ton of books and dvds to watch while you're on bed rest.
I honestly can't think of any particular situations like yours, but I definitely agree with positive thinking. If it helps at all, I'm pretty sure every single person in here is barracking for you and your little one. We are all thinking of you and praying for the best.
Angel - Best of luck with your scan, will be stalking to see how it all goes
Summa - Finally got a chance to catch up on your diary, oh and I saw the space ship lamp on FB. Totally love it!!!!! I want one!
How is everyone else doing? Does anyone have anything special planned for Christmas/New years?
AFM - Well everything is happening now! LSL is completley and totally sorted out! And we have been madly searching for houses. Spent ALL weekend doing walk throughs aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I think we have found the one we want! I'm going down to have a look tomorrow and then I think we'll make an offer.
Ahhh moving over christmas break, is there anything more insane! (this is the 3rd time we've moved in the silly season, and we never learn!)

Firstly to everyone - sorry I have been MIA Combination of work, travel & also just trying to deal with everything.
Chic - I'm SO HAPPY that your levels have been doubling - so super! I have been thinking of you & I'm glad to hear its all still on track for you and your little emby! I agree with Bubba - its a fighter xx
Angel - Hello Baby!! Do you feel a bit more relieved now that you've had the ultrasound?
To catch everyone up on everything, when I had tested first I only got a hcg level of 27 but hadnt had a bleed. So two days later I had to have another test - came out 23 but I already knew beforehand that it wasn't it as I had a bleed at lunch but as I didn't have a level of 23, I had to have more blood tests so another one 5 days later - back down to zero. I'm feeling ok now but it was a really hard week after that first test. I don't feel like IVF is a lot to go through - its just a lot to go through when you don't have a positive result and we were so excited to have the positive HPT before the blood test. Also the day after the bleed I had to go on a business trip which got extended so at a time when I just wanted to be home with my husband I was having to be all smiles & show so there was a lot of tears every night in my hotel room. My favourite 'advice' that I got from people was "Don't worry - other people I know have done 3 or 5 rounds of IVF before being successful" I don't want to go through 5 rounds so I'm not sure how thats supposed to make me feel better! But really there isn't much that anyone can say to help besides just to be there. So as we have a fair bit of travel on for the rest of the month (holiday & christmas with the in-laws) we're waiting until next month for our review appointment with the specialist. At least we still have our two frosties
A big hello to all the girls - I'll catch up with personals shortly but thanks for being so supportive xxx

Hi all... i am new here and didnt really know where to start!
hubby and i have just last month started TTC, AF is 3 days late but did a HPT today which returned a negative result! not too sure what to think as i have been insanely exhausted, feeling sick and had lower back pain for around the past 10 days.
prior to TTC i had implanon in for 1 year and 5 months so i worry that this has messed things up for me! anyone else here had implanon?
thanks in advance best of luck to everyone TTC!!!

Welcome mrstuilawa Hope you figure out what's going on. Don't know anything about implanon, so I can't help, sorry. But good luck with your ttc journey, I hope it's short and sweet.
Magic, for the LSL being sorted out, finally! And I'm so excited for you finding a new house, but it is absolutely mad to be moving during silly season...Although you probably have quite a bit of experience now it would seem, so should be a walk in the park for you!!
Angel, that picture is precious!!! how amazing it must be for you to see bubs healthy and kicking (so to speak, I'm not sure it's actually kicking just yet!). Hope your pregnancy goes smoothly.
silent, don't worry about the results until they actually come out on thursday, I'm sure you'll be fine...
Chunky, I'm so sorry you had a chemical. It's so difficult when you see that positive hpt and then it's all taken away from you so fast. You can't know how many cycles it will take to get a sticky one. Some women are lucky and it happens fast and others go through many more cycles. It's hard, but personally, I know it will all be worth it when I hold my baby in my arms. You can pm me if you want to talk...
I hope you enjoy your holiday and all the festivities, and you'll feel ready to take on the world in the new year. FETs are really not as bad as IVF, and I hope one of your 2 frosties brings you a sticky BFP real soon.
You ladies are just amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support and positivity. It makes such a huge difference to my day, as I can't talk about those things with anyone else. We did tell our parents and my sister, but only because of the bleed scare last thursday. I always need my mum and my sister when things get tough! But now that everything's back on track, we try not to talk about it, just because they all know how scared we are of losing this one too, so not talking about it until out of the first trimester.
But no other family or friends know, so you are the only ones I can talk to!
My FS is abroad for the next 10 days, but he told me to go see his colleague (who is also the one who did our transfer) for a scan on thursday. And a repeat BT too. Hoping all will be as it should at this stage.
