Default Help - mid-cycle bleeding on the pill..

I'm exactly a week from finishing my active pills, and I woke up this morning with period pain. After my shower, about to put on my jeans, I noticed I felt a bit wet down there, and when I bent down to put my jeans on I noticed blood!
I haven't missed any pills. I haven't skipped any periods. This has only ever happened to me if I've skipped a period consecutively. I haven't skipped periods for years.
DH is telling me 'Oh no, its implantation babe, your pregnant' and I'm freaking out, coz period pain is normal for me when I'm newly pregnant. I haven't ever had implantation bleeding, but I have had bleeding during pregnancy before.
Can any one tell me their experiences with mid-cycle bleeding while on the pill? What did it end up meaning for you?

That used to happen to me when I was on the pill. I dont know what it was or why it happened but it happened every month so I was getting a period every 2 weeks It stopped when I went off the pill though so who knows.

I had the same experience. My dr said because I had been on it so long (5 years - no breaks) it may be my body getting too used to it or something. It stopped when I went off it.

I've only been on it for about 6-8 months. I was on it for about 3 years, 4 years ago.
