If it looks like this + | then that's a positive. If it looks like this - | then it's negative.

I did a pregnosis test and it did the same at first. The test window had a horizontal line in it for a minute or so then faded and became a vertical line.
I assumed the horizontal line was the test drawing the pink dye through the test (like the way it absorbed through the test if that makes sense?)
If it completely cleared out of the first window in a few minutes I'd guess your not pregnant.
But if your still feeling symptoms and unsure maybe wait a few days and test again?

I also tried Pregnosis with my morning urine and in the first 3 minutes I saw a horizontal line in the control window, then it cleared up and became negative. 5 minutes later a faint vertical line showed up in the control window. Can anyone tell me if the reading is still valid within 10 minutes of testing? Thank you.

Do you mean test window? The Control line should come up regardless.

If the test says to be read within 10 minutes then a result within that 10 minute period is a valid result. Anything outside the time specified in the instructions in invalid (so if the instructions say to read within 5 minutes, anything after that 5 minutes is invalid and you should do another test). I hope that helps?

Thanks for your feedback. The Pregnosis Clear instructed to read the result at 3 minutes and to wait another 1 minute if no coloured line appears. That some positive results may be observed in 1 minute or less depending on the concentration of hCG. IT also specifically instructed to NOT read the result after 10 minutes.
I saw the positive result before 8 minutes. So i guess there may be a chance that it is true. I'll just have to be patient and try again in a couple days when my period is supposed to be due.
Thanks again for your feedback. I really appreciate it.
Hope you're having a lovely weekend!
