We're a supportive bunch and we share both the lows and the highs. For me personally, it does help to be able to chat to other parents with ASD kids as they just 'get' it.

    So many hugs to you

We're just about the enter into the ADOS Assessment process for DD with her Developmental Paed once she finishes off completing the last few areas of DD's development which was from her review appointment she had a couple of weeks ago, but it's just a formality for DD as there's no doubt that DD is on the Spectrum not only due to behaviours etc exhibited but also due to the genetic link from her father as she has a half brother that is also on the Spectrum (he is the eldest now adult child from a previous relationship).

The diagnosis comes as no surprise to me as I've known something was amiss with DD since she was around 10 months old and knew for certain in my heart she was ASD when she was 13-14 months old. I've had her in Early Intervention Services since she was that age also (as she has Global Development Delay thanks to the Autism).

Thank-you for the link and I will come and chat to you and the others at some stage Appreciate the invitation and support alsoxoxox
