Default Baby smiling off into the distance?

    Hi,

So my 13wk old baby often smiles and stares at our wedding pictures. When I feed her, the pics are to our left and up on the wall. She will just look up at them and most often just smile. She has been doing this since she was about 6wks old (she started smiling at 3wks).

So can babies this young recognise their parents in photos? The actual pics r only 6x4 size and about a metre from her eye sight.
Some people r even telling me she's seeing a ghost

Oh it used to always freak me out when little babies would smile at nothing but look so meaningful! I remember DS smiling intently at a blank wall when he was about 6 wks old... it's a little unnerving!

By 13 wks I'm pretty sure they have good eyesight. I don't know, but your bub may well see you smiling back down & presume it's you in real life. She may not realise it's a photo, she is probably wondering how on earth you can feed her and look down on her like that at the same time LOL
