Default What makes a great MIL?

    My MIL:

    Listens but doesn't judge
    Offers but doesn't push
    Asks but doesn't probe
    Doesn't guilt trip

She's the perfect balance of supportive but not pushy.

Not pushy and know it all, non judgemental, and makes you feel that you are a part of the family, not an outsider. Also my MIL is the one person I can complain about my husband to knowing she will still love him and I don't have to air my dirty laundry to anyone else!
