Thanks to the information from a lady on this forum, my 6-month old son is now attending a nice childcare centre that I am really happy with..
My husband and I are expected to move house again. Can anybody on this forum recommend a childcare centre in Seddon & Yarraville area, VIC ? My husband works in Parkville. Having our son in a childcare centre close to his work will be good for us. Can anybody recommend a childcare centre in the city, parkville area?
Any information is highly appreciated. I have only one child and he's only 6 months old and I really really want to find a nice one for him.....

I really like Clare Court in Yarraville and they are remodelling to make it bigger and nicer. But...the waiting list is HUGE so put your name down asap.

Might be a bit off course but I have DS in tree house in ascot vale. It's fabulous. Depends on which route he uses to get to work I guess.

RMIT daycare takes 'community' people too and is quite nice. Another interesting city one is the new Eltham College Kids on Collins Street.

there's wimble st in parkville, and depending on where your DH will get off the train, there's park st in brunswick, north melbourne children's centre and lady huntingfield in north melbourne. I've worked at all, and all are great. Be aware though, ANY decent centres in the area have AT LEAST a one year wait. I am still waiting and DS is 15 months.

I agree that the wait lists in these areas are massive (I am in Newport)
We have had our daughter in Little Assets (used to be Future kids) at the World trade centre in the city for neally 2.5 years now and whilst some aspects if the running of it have annoyed us - our daughter loves it and the girls there are great
A bit easier to get into as well

There is a new centre opening up in Parkville
corner of Oak and poplar st...on the corner of the CSL site. not far from the zoo and the tram stop there
No idea what it will be like as a centre though......
It is being run by Early Childhood Management Services
