I forgot to add in my last post that I've always been on 1000 mg a day.

On the advice of a U.S. IVF dr I saw for a 2nd opinion I started taking metformin due to PCO (to reduce testosterone), to reduce risk of ovarian hyperstim during IVF, and to reduce risk of MC (had 2 previously). I immediately got pregnant and was advised by my current IVF dr to keep taking until 12 weeks. I've read some posts that say they weaned off (1 a day) but I was told to stop cold turkey.
