Default Is there a fridge that has the water option that doesn't need to be plumbed in?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a fridge that has the water and ice in the door that doesn't need to be plumbed into water? I thought I heard there was a type but not sure if I just dreamed it. The fridge spot in my kitchen is in a spot that I don't think will be able/or will be very expensive to get the plumbing over to it.

Yeah my friend has the water option without plumbing it in it's like the PP fridge where you fill it up in the door. It doesnt dispense ice though

Hang on those fridges need plumbing? Wow I just thought you just filled it up with water inside the fridge. Hmmm

My mum had a fridge that you can fill up a container inside the fridge and it has an ice machine inside the freezes section that takes water from that and makes and stores ice in the freezer. Is that what you mean? I'm not sure what brand her fridge is though.
