For my first I lost 12kgs by the time I left hospital. But I'd put on 20!!! lots of fluid I think. The rest came off in the 6 months after.

With my first, 14kg in first week (I put on 18.5kg but she was huuuuuge!).

With my second, all of it (8kg) in two weeks.

    However - I'm still a fattie

14kgs with DS, has only gained 10kgs, so lost more then what Id gained, and again 14kgs with DD had only gained 14kgs throughout that pregnancy. And that was within 5days of both of them being born.

Both times, I had lost 15kg a week or so after the birth, but I put on a lot during them, and ballooned up right at the very end of both of them from 35 to 40 weeks I put on 8kg. Right after birth with DD1 I had lost 10kg. However she was 4.5kg and her placenta was as big as her if not bigger and I lost blood. The extra kg came off within a week and I felt like I looked really thin after a week lol (I wasn't really) because I realised the weight gain in the end was fluid retention and a week after the birth I started weeing a heap over two days and my feet went back to being bony and I could fit my wedding rings on again .

With DD2 it was different because she was only just over 3kg and her placenta was smaller than her. I lost nothing straight after her birth, I guess because I retained fluid from my c-section (1st was natural). The 15kg was lost in the week after.. fluid retention again! I still looked bigger though, as I guess more of me had been fat than baby the second time around as I weighed the same for each birth but baby size was really different.

I put on 15kg. I lost 13kg in first two weeks and a further 4kg two weeks after that. I was just fluid and baby.

I gained about 22kg in my pregnancy... lost 10 instantly (my boy was almost 5 though!!!!)

He's just over 2 weeks old now and I am only 4 kg above my pre-pregnancy weight..... and that's without doing any excersize because I'm not allowed to until 6 wks post birth.

I gained 7kg during my pregnancy. A week after I had her, I got the chance to weigh myself. I'd lost all of that 7kg, plus another 7kg on top of it.

I didn't eat much during pregnancy though, and ate a lot healthier than I normally would have. My sense of smell went crazy and I couldn't handle being around some junky foods...
