How lovely for you! Bet he had a ball too!

My little monkey loves dinners out too and he's the same, and loves charming the waitresses with his cheeky grin!

Who says you have to stay home all the time just cause you have kids???

If you live near an Outback Jack's they have kids deals (can't remember which days) and a kids area.

awwww how cute, my DS got complimented by alot of people last time we went out for dinner because he is only 21 months old and scoffed down a bowl of pasta. He was enjoying eating it so much, he had his bib catcher on it and was thoroughly enjoying the pasta everyone was loving it and thought it was so cute. it was at a pub though so more family friendly

Its nice when other people compliment your kids.

I took my 2 DDs to a really gorgeous little cafe that is stocked full of bone china tea sets and beautiful handmade crafts etc.

DD1 was almost 2 and a half and DD2 was 8 weeks old and in her pram. When we walked in the owner gave us the most ferocious look, as if to say "we do not have children here".

Well I was so pleased with DD1 when her babycino came out she said thank you and then said "look at the pretty cup and plate you've got Mummy". After our coffees we had a walk around the shop and she admired everything but did not touch anything.

When we were leaving the owner was all smiles and asked me if she could give DD1 a cookie to take home because she'd been so well behaved.

I really wanted to say "see you didnt have to look at us like we smelled like poo" but instead I took the moral highground and said "yes she is very good. She's been coming out for coffee since she was a newborn so she knows how to behave". What I didnt add though is that she is a holy terror at home.
