Thank you timetoshine - I'm excited and very nervous at the same time! He really does throw it all at you at once. It was a little overwhelming and hard to remember all the things he wants to do and why. I've gone from docs that wont to anything to one that seems as want to do everything!

Lilypily - Gosh, it's scary to think that you're only 36 and that's leaving it late!

Ngaiz - I'm not sure but he does put you on lots of different vitamins also, so I'm guessing he would be supportive....

Does anyone remember how much their initial blood tests set them back and how much the sperm analysis cost after rebate? I assume (hope) there would be a rebate!?

The app is playing up for me so not sure if my post last night worked... Here it is just in case...

I'm so happy to hear your appt went well onelove. What an amazing twist of fate that you got an appointment today. Good luck with your treatment and don't hesitate to post here if you have anymore questions. Wazza treats all his patients as if they have antibodies because the medications are really quite straightforward and simple to get. You will feel like you are rattling with all the tablets and injections. Can I make a suggestion and type out all your meds, doses and times onto separate spreadsheets - one for you and one for dh. It makes it so much easier to keep track when you are "dishing your meds" out at night/morning...

So hopefully you now have the magic formula and will be on your way to a bfp in no time

Sorry our initial tests and sperm analysis were over 6 years ago so I can't help with prices...

    Hi Ladies,

I am new on this thread.
After 2 previous IVF/ICSI (My partner had a vasectomy 8 years ago):
IVF#1 ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks and IVF#2 in BFN -
DH and myself decided to give it one more shot and to jump on the Wazza train. We have our first appointment booked in November.

I will welcome any suggestions/tips you would share from your experience with WDA. I know he likes to give lots of vitamins. Is there a general list he gives to all his patients?

    Thanks for the tips ladies.

This is a really helpful thread! I have just had my second failed IVF cycle and am looking for a second opinion. I always see wazza in recovery at epu and he seems so caring with a great sense of humour, even in this serious game. I am not happy with the lack of information I'm getting about cycle 3 (surely there is more than one option? And after 2 failed attempts shouldn't we change something?). I'll call up tomorrow and get on his waiting list. He sounds like just the man for the job! Thanks for all the helpful info about him.

    Hi ladies,

Thought I'd join this thread. We first saw WDA about 2 1/2 years ago and had ICSI in Nov 2011 which was successful and we now have DS who is 13 months. We have just done our second cycle and I am one week into my TWW.
