Do you know anyone with succulents and agave in their gardens? We have heaps and they grow babies and multiply on their own without ever buying more. I am in Melbourne so can't help you, but that is how my mum stocked her garden.

As the agaves grow little babies sprout out from the bottom, you can cut them off and put them in soil and they will grow. Succulents will grow from a leaf or stem mostly in the same way.
