Welcome Pinkjellybean and GabberQueeN83, looking forward to getting to know you.
DD - when you ask what type of cycle will I do, what do you mean? As I mentioned in a previous post, my current FS does not seem interested or concerned as to why the ETs keep failing, he hasn't offered any suggestions or different ways of doing things, his answer is just try the same thing again. I have been going to Westmead Fertility Centre and there are other FS's there, so I'm going to see if I can see another FS that is more caring and willing to help me.
In regards to supplements, I have been taking Blackmores Preconception and Blackmores i-folic, I was previously using Elevit but was advised not to take it as it didn't contain iodine, but since then they have made a new Elevit with iodine so maybe when I finish with Blackmores I'll go back. I also just bought some Menevit for DH as his sperm count was considerably lower in our 2nd IVF attempt - is there any other supplement I should know about?
Sorry Woowoo, haven't heard of Vitex, what is it used for?

DD glad your transfer went well, sorry I didnt get to post any relaxation breathing for you, glad you didnt need it. I usually check in most days but havent go in here for a few. Enjoy being PUPO
Welcome Pinkjellybean and GabberQueeN83, its a lovely group in here and some of us havent even left once we have concieved.
mumto chris, its a real shame your fertility specialist doesnt seem interested in what is causing your ET's to fail. Defintely try seeing someone else. I found it really interesting what you said about c-sects and the scar tissue causing infertility. Its a real shame drs dont tell you about the risks for next pregnacy when they trying to talk you into have a c-sect.
AFM am in Adealide now waiting for bubs arival, had a scan done today, was great to see bubs again. Bubs has hair, was amazed that you can see that on an ultra sound. bubs is measuring just under average but other than its heart condition is looking perfect.
Has anyone heard from flicker? Havent seen her in here for awhile or have I just been skim reading and missed her posting.

Hi all, thanks for the warm welcome!
DD, I love pink jellybeans (Jelly Bellys are the best), as well as my own little pink jellybean who is nealy 17 months old! Good to hear that your transfer went well. You asked about how long it took to concieve #1, well it was about 8 months from going off the pill to concieveing, but didn't really have much of a clue IYKWIM? I wasn't temping or using OPKs or anything, so I think it was just a bit of dumb luck. I think this time I'll have to be a bit more proactive, especially as I'm a couple of years older!
Kimnus, great minds must think alike, will you be starting in November then?
mumtochris, its a shame your fertility specialist isn't a bit more receptive tochange, although I'm another one that has a big age gap, my brother is 6 years younger than me, and we have a really good relationship, and I remember as a little girl being delighted that I was going to have a brother or sister, whenever it happens.
woowoo, thanks for the welcome, and fingers crossed for the TWW!
GabberQueen, nice to see another newbie to the group although you're a couple of months ahead of me in your planning, how old is your little one?
Shelby, thanks for the welcome, and congrats on your little one, I hope that they're being good to you.
KatKyle and KrissyM, good luck with your immient arrivals, I hope it goes smoothly for you both.
So as for me, just waiting round, waiting for pill to finish.... My cycle went all over the place after I went off the pill last time, so even though will technically be TTC in July, I don't have high hopes straight away. Although that was after 10 years or so on the pill, and this time wil only be a year, does that make any difference I wonder? DD is such a joy at this age though, although I keep thinking that every month she gets older. She is quite headstrong through, and the only grandchild for both sides at the moment, so I don't know how she will go with not being the centre of attention, although my SIL is due in November, so that will be a good test for her!

Hello lovely ladies,
I'm in a bit of a dilemma and need some advice - PLEASE HELP!!!
Remember I told you I had a c/s with DS and fluid was discovered on my scar a few months ago and I have my hysteroscopy booked in 3-6 months time. Well, should we hold off going through IVF until after the surgery?
My heart says no because I'm due to start IVF in a few weeks and don't want to wait any longer to get my BFP, but my mind says yes because of the chance I could miscarry if we were successful.
What should we do?????????

H everyone - can I join?
DH and I been TTC since February and sadly experienced M/C 4.5wks in this week. B-HCG went down (100 on Sun, 95 on Mon and then 50 on Wed) and bleeding started last night. Dr said no reason why we can't start trying right away but I am scared and wry of it happening again. Just hoping that the bleeding doesn't go too long and I can start feeling back to normal.
Undecided whether to start trying right away or leave it a cycle... going to try and have a chat with DH tonight to see his frame of mind and then it is back to the OB/GYN this coming Friday to see what's next.
DS is OBSESSED with babies and carries his teddies around cuddling them and calling them "my baby". Makes me sad that it just doesn't happen.
Hope you all get your very VERY soon.

Good morning lovelies x
Well done on the safe arrival of DS2!!
Was he early??
AlisaAlison - nice to meet u. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm hoping these sorts of things only happen for a reason. Doesn't make it much easier on u though xxxx
If you are both up for it I would start straight away, provided ur doc says it's ok.
Mumtochris - Well I think u need to get tough with ur doctors. They sound like they have been a bit slack with u. Tell them u can't wait 3-6 months. Tell them u need it now!!! U don't want to waste a ivf attempt. Would they still proceed with the ivf even knowing about the scarring etc?
Katkyle - Hi xx. Good luck next week!!! I can't believe ur babies are on their way!!!
Sorry I can't remember who asked - My doctor put me on Vitex to make my cycle longer. It's normally 24 days. She said I will never conceive coz it's 2 short. So Vitex should push it out to 28 days. I hope it works!!

congratulations on your blue bundle flicker...woo hoo, so glad he has arrived..
AlisaAron - welcome and sorry about your m/c, I know the feeling of being terrified after a m/c knowing that the next pregnancy would be a worry. I had one before DD then one after her and that I won't go through it again. Try whenever you are ready, it just makes dating harder for the next one so they tend to say wait a cycle but your body will figure it out. As long as you are emotionally ready, go for it.
Krissy - not long now..
So much to read and catch up on for all of you, Woowoo, Treenz, I will catch up for sure if I get a long enough break to go back through the posts.xx
To all the newbies, welcome, these girls are lovely and are a great support.
AFM - have made a FS appt for 11 July after finally deciding it may not happen naturally.. so annoyed as I fell pg after only 2 cycles last time. I have my obgyn appt on 7 July so I will ask him for a referral, I just don't want to sit on my hands much longer as I was 39 last month eeeeekkk
