Lady......what's a wipe warmer? There's sooooo many new baby items on the market ATM I have no idea lol!! It feels like it was the olden days when I had E ha ha!!
On a more serious note I'm so sorry your first mothers day hasn't been what you would have hoped for & I can only imagine how much yourself & C are missing DH. I actually saw a picture of your sister the other day. Mate from work was talking about someone she knew who was preggers & showed me a picture of her as she wanted me to tell her who I thought was carrying lower. Once she told me who she was I put two & two together. I didn't realize she was pregnant again, wasn't that long ago she had her last I thought. I'm sorry things aren't good between you & I hope her delivery doesn't get in the way of you spending some time with your mum.
Well, had ANOTHER unannounced visit from DH's parents & strange brother who gives me the creepos!
Even though DH saw them last night for m/day. DD & I didn't go as MIL insisted on going out to tea which we couldn't afford so DH went alone. Would of gone to there house for tea but that wasn't going to happen, in the whole 8.5 years we've been together we've only ever eaten there Christmas times & one other time & that's it!! Mind you we've had them over for dinner plenty of times but I wasn't going to do so this year. So they come right near dinner time just as where about to start cooking & also DD needed help with her school work & getting her to do it was another story but having them there was not helping. Even with the hints that I had to start cooking and DD & DH had to get stuck into the maths so DD would have eneough time to watch dancing with the stars didn't help didn't work!! Absolutly clueless!! So DH actually asked them to leave Oh my lord what will it be like once DD no 2 is here??? Things can only get worse but at least DH did tell them to leave (as it was really important for him to spend one on one time with DD & tackle maths) only prob is many of the unexpected visits are when DH is at work. Maybe I'm gonna have to put my foot down. At least a ph call first to check if it's a good time to visit would be nice!!

Digby.....a wipe warmer is a thingy that keeps the wipes warm so they're not so cold on babys bottom during winter. altho, i think i might return it. i thought everyone got them these days so i didn't want to be the only one using cold wipes on my babys bottom. I wouldn't think it's comfortable using a cold wipe on my bottom so i would assume baby wouldn't like it either! . But, after talking to a few others i've found that it's not all that much of necessity and people just continue on the same wipes throughout the year. So, think i might return it.
Man, damn in-laws, hey! Glad DH got up the guts to tell them to leave! finally!
And, as for my sister, yep, dont get me started on everything that is wrong with her and etc and yep her last baby just turned 2 in march! I know which work colleague you're referring to! . Hope you had a lovely dinner out and a lovely mothers day!

Hi ladies, just a quick update on today's appt. The specialist won't budge in regards to having a c-sect as although placentas low still it's not covering cervix. However he wants to see me again in 2 weeks time (38 weeks & 2 days) & if cervix is softened eneough will induce labour as baby is soooo big. However I asked what if cervix isn't softened & he wouldn't comment?? Surely they can still put you on the drip if not softened eneough instead of gel?? Any tips ladies on how to help this process along are very much welcomed!! He did mention the S word but I really don't feel up to it & I don't think DH is with my huge belly ATM either. I have massive groin pain so the thought of it ATM makes me cringe!
Redoing GD test Tomoz also as no's last Friday were 8.8 so he thinks I'm on the border, not much they can do at this stage though I'm guessing. Also doing more bloods as GP hasn't covered everything in regards to the "itching" I've been getting which is soooo painful. Apparantly it can have something to do with your liver & if results come back positive then he (may) have to induce me next week but I'm sure all will be fine. I do remember reading on the other thread Rell had it & was admitted to hospital. So when I got this massive attack 2 weeks ago I mentioned it to my GP (just incase) 2 weeks later still itchy all over????
So that's it for me until the 23rd May. Fingerscrossed for an induction that week. Bubs is already around 8 pounds, if I'm going to deliver naturally I don't want to wait until week 40 yikes!!! She'll be over 10 pounds!!!
Will catchup on personals later, it's been quiet on here today!! Hope everyone is well. Cya xxx

Hi Digby - What's wrong with the Gel???? I've been induced 3x, always started with the Gel. I usually need several doses. They don't put you on the drip until your waters have broken, and they can't break your waters if your cervix isn't soft and starting to dilate, hence the gel. Hope that made sense. Hopefully the itching is PUPPS (I think that's the acronym), which isn't dangerous, just annoying and not the liver one. A Mum at school had the liver one with all 3 of her pregnancies, she was always induced early, babes were fine.
Hope the tests all come out fine, getting very close now. My Dad was 11pound 3 ounces and my Nanna had him naturally, no stitches and no long term damage IYKWIM. Big baby doesn't always = horrible birth.
Sorry for lack of personals having a crappy day. Might go pour myself a nice glass of wine, oh did I mention I'm not cooking tea. I'm finishing work early today. Yeah right!

Kiwi.....ah I was just confused & thought the gel only works if cervix is soft & if not they use the drip. Didn't realize you have to have your water broken for the drip. I had the gel with E & it worked a treat. Just hope I'll be nice & soft next fortnight.
Enjoy your glass of wine Yummmm!!

Digby - Yeah, they use the gel to help the cervix "ripen". I only needed 2 lots of gel for J, but P & S I had water's broken and the drip. Hopefully your bub wont need much encouraging.
Lisa - Only 2 more nights and DH will be home. Hope C is feeling better.

Recipical translocation of chromosome 2 and 15
starting the think I am a fertility nightmare but then we were able to conceive Cooper naturally which i am thinking it was a miracle appointment with Dr Lane on wednesday to see what options we have.
Am i being selfish wanting a brother or sister for cooper ? as much as I wanted him.

Far out Liv, Cooper sure was a miracle! Sorry to hear the MRI news wasn't better. What does this mean for ttc #2? Hope Weds appt has some positive answers for you.

Hell no!!!!! I don't think it matters how many children you have, if you want another the emotions are very strong, the need just as great. I have never wanted a baby as much as I wanted Sam. Does that mean I love P & J any less? No way!!!!!! I have every thing crossed another little miracle is not too far away for you.
Winzy - Very normal thoughts and emotions for this stage of pregnancy. I've had these for each of my kiddies. June 8th would be a better day for for bubs arrival, very cool people are born that day.

Liv......I'm so sorry to hear it is adneyomosis. I hope this won't prevent baby #2. Mini C is a miracle all right but Fingerscrossed he WILL have another lil playmate before too long. As for being selfish wanting more ABSOLUTLY NO!!! Like Kiwi I already had a child & I've wanted & yearned for this baby for four years. I love E more than anything but doesn't mean I can't yearn for a sibling for her. They say the first year after having a baby your the most fertile so hopefully that will go in your favour. Keeping everything crossed for you mate, your a fantastic mum & so deserve more children just as mini C deserves a sibling xxxx
Winzy........June 7th is my birthday
I can't believe where nearly at the end. I'm sorry to hear your having terrible dreams. It's all completly normal (even though it's horrible) I had an awful dream a few weeks ago that our little girl was born still born. The dream was frightening & really shook me up. Like you I woke stressing waiting for baby to move. Do hope there will be no more nasty dreams. Are you having weekly or still fortnightly appts now? I can't believe where now in our last month & our babies could come anytime now yay!!!!! Bring it on!!!
