Taralou: I just looked at that link.. Very interesting. I might look into them as well. Thanks for posting that.
Does anyone know of you can use it with metformin as well? I'm waiting for AF before I can start my second round of clomid.. Not sure when that will be but I'm only cd22 today though.
Rach: what does primrose oil do?

Hey missmya. It's supposed to increase fertile cervical mucas... And clomid can dry it out so I figure it's a good idea!
How are you feeling? I guess our first clomid month was disappointing for both of us Is your dose getting increased this month? I start the pills tomorrow: cd3..... again

Yeah I'm feeling better then I was, I guess you just get so worked up and excited it's going to work then when it doesn't you get very upset. Yeah I'm on the metformin and once AF arrives I have to have a blood test on day 2 then depending on those my FS he may increase my dose of clomid.
I had a blood test yesterday for cd21 to check my progesterone so I will be getting those results tomorrow. (they won't be that good but he wanted to check them anyway)
Are you now starting 100mg?

Hey- I haven't been able to talk to my fs yet... But I have taken 100mgs today because it is cd3 and he said that if it didn't work the first month we would increase. I'm calling him today to chat.... Hope 100mgs was the right thing to do.... When af comes early on the wkend there is not much we can do I guess!!
I reckon anything is worth a shot so I'm going nuts taking everything recommended....
I hope Taralou gets news that it is all ok!!
Glad you are feeling a bit better. I was upset by my bt results and af coming early. Ttc has devastating moments Hopefully month 2 will be the gem!!

So I just got a copy of my Blood results that I had on Saturday and although I didnt think I would have ovulated I didnt think it would STILL be at the same levels it has been throughout all my blood tests leading up to the Clomid. It still is <0.5 (less then 0.5) That cant be good can it???
Im waiting to speak to my FS about it. I dont want to bombard him this early in the morning so I am going to wait abit then phone. I thought after the provera, clomid and then 6 days so far on the Metformin it would have changed a little bit!!

I think it's great that we are all sharing stories about supplements, as it is a topic close to my own heart and I am really interested to hear who has been taking what and whether it has worked for them or not...
Well, no news yet from my naturopath but I am still taking both EPO and RJ.
The EPO does help with CM, as Rach mentioned. The other supplement that I am taking to help with CM is called "Fertile CM" and I ordered it from the US. I have been trying to convince my FS to get me on Clomid for a year now and so I had done plenty of research about the drug and its side effects. As I have read all about the hostile CM issues etc, I thought I would order the "Fertile CM" in advance and start taking it before I commenced my first Clomid cycle. I can't tell you whether it works or not but I am happily taking it and I plan to continue doing so through this cycle. It is a Vit-C/Calcium/L-Arginine/N-ACetyl Cysteine combo and all of these vitamins/supplements have been proven to be helpful in TTC. You can order the product on-line here http://www.fertilecm.com/ but if you want to wait and see whether it works for me or not, I am happy to be the human "guinea pig"! I don't have any association with the company, nor do I know anyone personally who has had success with the product. I just figured that it sounded like it made sense, so I am throwing it in to the mix!
Missmya - I am glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Hopefully something interesting comes from your blood results and your FS can tweak your dosage for this next cycle. Look at all the success stories we have had on here lately: a lot of those girls took a couple of cycles to get the dosage right and get their BFP so I think you are on the right track...!
Rach: I am sure the 100mgs will be ok if that is what your FS said he was planning to prescribe. From what I read, the hostile CM issues can become more prevalent with higher dosage of Clomid. Do you have some Pre-Seed? I ordered some online - I think it was via eBay. Someone in the UK was the cheapest, I think.
AFM: I am really excited. AF arrived this morning so I am offically calling today CD1 and that means I start my Clomid tomorrow.I am really relieved that my body did what it was "supposed to" after the Primolut and I am working really hard on positive affirmations and all that good stuff for the cycle that begins today.
Wishing everyone a great start to the week - there's baby-dust in the air, I'm sure of it...!

missmya that is really dissapointing
Ive started on robitussan but its so disgusting, i dont know how long I will be able to keep it up!
AFM I have my CD12 blood test tomorrow to check my levels and see wether or not I will ovulate. It's my first cycle on 50mg so we'll see, FX for good results.

Glad to hear things are going well for some of us! but unfortunately for me I did not ovulate last month I am now on round 2 and on 100mg this time. I am on day 3 of taking clomid if anyone wants to be a cycle buddy with me? I have bloods on Friday. Hopefully this month is better because I think DH has had enough of me
Love hearing peoples success stories, continues to give me hope!
