Ive been stalking this thread for a few months as I too have elevated antibodies.
Im cycle day one and picking up my meds tomorrow from the clinic and start on the Bondi Protocol.
Ive only had 2 failed cycles but I was a 'tell me why' person and demanded a trailer load of testing. Which got me onto my diagnosis.
I was wanting to know if you ladies also did accupuncture with your cycles? Ive exhausted my health fund allocation for treatements but if you guys did it and were successful I should bite the bullet.
Was there any other supplements you took? Im on fishoil with Vit D, elevit, iron with zinc, and metformin for PCOS.
I know its my month this month - Xmas present for us
Id like to hear from anyone else who is on the protocol ATM too.

I can't help with the elevated antibodies, but I have high NK cells and did the immune protocol and just got a BFP.
I highly recommend acupuncture especially on the tfr day, i do believe it has helped me. I had acupuncture and was taking herbs and supplements while doing my stim cycle aswell. The supplements i was on are similar to you: fish oil, vit d, multi, extra Vit B6 & B12, magnesium and calcium and zinc.
I'm not sure what did it for me this time it was my 12th tfr from 7 stim cycles but I'm hoping you do get a BFP soon

Mousse, when you said you took herbs, do you mean TCM herbs? Thanks!

Yes TCM, but i know alot of dr's don't recommend it. Actually i haven't come across a dr that does. I even know of a chinese medical practitioner who works closely with the ivf specialists doing acupuncture and she doesn't recommend it. But I believe it helps and you have to do what you think is right for you.
I know some people will take the TCM herbs leading up to the cycle and then stop when doing the ivf drugs. Its really your decision.
HTH. Good luck.

I know this is a really old thread. I'm just new to this forum.
I've got a phone appointment with Dr Mattias in a week. I did see Dr Sacks late last year - did NK Cell testing (negative) and had a hysteroscopy which was also pretty normal.
I have just completed my 16th transfer. I've done 6 stimulated cycles, 7 FET's, 3 Donor Cycles (in SA Cape Fertility - 2 Fresh & 1 Frozen). I've had many chemical pregnancy's, 1 blighted ovum, 1 miscarriage, 1 ectopic.....
I know you used Dr Matthias but then changed to Karen Pace. Just interested to hear any thoughts/suggestions you have?
I am likely to finish my ivf journey if no one can actually pin point anything that's actually wrong. To date, everyone just says 'it's a numbers game' or 'it's the age of your eggs' etc etc, but the last donor cycle I did pgs and transferred a chromosomally perfect embryo which became a chemical pregnancy.
I'm pretty worn out by it all and am finding it hard to admit that I cannot make this happen.
I have 2 children from my first marriage, which were both conceived
naturally. Current husband has had all testing done and is 9 years younger than me - his tests all fine!

@smith1311 I couldn't read and run as I noticed you said u had two children from previous partner.
Not sure if this is applicable to your situation but I am also seeing dr m and have just done testing for hla and dq alpha match with dp.
I do have elevated nk cells and positive ana but we are testing for everything.
Have you tested to see if you and your partner have hla matches? There is an active nk cell thread that talks a lot about this also not sure if you've seen it , if not I can send you the link

Thank you for your message miissalina
We've been told we've done all testing possible, but from what I understand, the 'normal' testing in Australia isn't that comprehensive.
Hopefully Dr M will just re-test for everything and we can find out what the problem is.
I just never imagined I'd have done 16 transfers and still have no baby - particularly as I had 2 children with no problems at all.
Where are you at with your testing with Dr M?
30-07-2015 18:57 #29
@smith1311 I have seen dr sacks and as far as I am aware he doesn't test hla as he doesn't believe in it he also didn't do intralipids or ivig.
I am currently in my tww and on my 7th transfer, we are now with Genea and this embryo is pgd tested.
I have done all testing except for the hla and I'm seeing dr m on Monday for the results of those, then I'm pretty much done with testing, wish I'd done it all sooner but we got there in the end.
I'm sorry to hear you've been through so many cycles with no take home Bub. This whole journey is exhausting in every aspect, the constant treatment and stress is overwhelming. I have found seeing the clinic counsellor has helped me a lot.
I chose not to go with dr sacks because his treatment was minimal whereas dr m offers a range of treatment which I'm sure you will find out about and hopefully that is the answer you've been looking for.
