Hi everyone! I am new to bubhub and we are also moving to Gladstone in the next few months ( my partner is moving next month and my Son (11months at the moment)and I are following a couple months afterwards when he is all settled ) We are coming over from New Zealand - so will be a big move for us! Especially since I have lived in this city for the past 20years!

HazeP - I assume you have had your wee bubba, hope all is going well!

Just looking to meet a few Mamas, as I' pretty sure I will go bonkers if I was a lone wolf so to speak! Hope you get notified of new posts on this thread as you all seem lovely!

Look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi SamsMama

Hope everything is going well with the preperations to move, it is very scary, but also very exciting moving to a new place. Must be hard when you have been there 20 years! Everyone is so friendly here, and there seems to be something on nearly every day. I have recently started a playgroup on a Thursday morning, happy to give you the details nearer the time if you fancy it. Also gonna go and check out a class today at the pcyc, so will let you know how that goes.

I have met a nice circle of friends here. Everyone is from somewhere else and keen to make friends. Always happy to meet someone new, so once you are organised give us a shout if you would like to catch up.
i had another little boy in January he is 5 months now and my big boy was 2 in March. We are always out at parks for picnics and a kick about. Also have a few kiwi friends if you get homesick lol!

Any questions give me a shout!

    Hazel

    Hi Hazel!

Thanks for the reply yes it's very nerve wracking planning the big move. We are bringing our dog over too, couldn't leave him behind so it makes it a bit more complicated... but at least NZ and OZ have the same regulations etc!

Yes I would love to be a part of your playgroup. I will have to let you know when we have dates on when we will be arriving. What would be the best way to get hold of you? Just on here?

Oh a 'new' little bubba! You'll be able to tell me what the maternity care is like over there (plan to expand our brood in the next year or so!)

I'm feeling a little better about it all now! Knowing that there are some Mamas I can catch up with!

    Alexa
