Jessesgirl, glad the scan went well and fingers are crossed for you for Tuesday! - Yeh Ive already had a few blood tests however they're just consistent with PCOS and not showing anything happening anytime soon. (already on CD45) Will see what the scan says tomorrow.

Aww thanks so much Lovedup!!! Well on my first cycle I POAS the day before the blood test and got a BFN but then at the blood test I got a BFP. I generally do go to the toilet a lot during the day and night, don't know if that impacted it. So now I try my best to stay away from them.....
Let us know how everything goes tomorrow...
Ps Hope you've bulk bought your HPT's ready and waiting LOL

Aaash sorry Mustangkt, not sure how I got that wrong! Pindara is almost a stones throw from where I live. -How are you finding your injections, have you had any side effect symptoms?
Afm--> Woohoo. My scan went well so he decided I could start today! I gave myself my first injection which I was pretty nervous about but I hardly felt anything. (Maybe cause I was so nervous adrenalin kicked in.)
Anyway I'm just so glad to be getting started, all the waiting was doing my head in!
Hope you ladies are havin a great day!

Lovedup - the two side effects I'm struggling with most are the hot flushes and the insomnia... I've been up since 4:30am!!!

Hi Lovedup - we were one of the lucky few who got our BFP on our first go at IVF! I went through Dr Dunn at City Fertility and we were so happy with him. Since we have moved to NSW he has called several times to check on how i am going and so has City fertility. Our IVF was a little different to most of the lovely ladies in here. We already have children and my husband had a vasectomy after our last one as we thought we were finished but then we regretted it ever since and really wanted another baby. so after much deliberation and saving, 6 years later we are having our "one more". DH had to have a TESA due to the vasectomy and Dr Dunn is the Dr at city fertility who specialises in that. it all went really well. We also had to do ICSI because of the lack of motility of the sperm and I am so thankful we did because i really think that gave us a better shot. I didn't have any major side effects with the injections, i was a little less tolerant throughout the whole process but overall, it was pretty straight forward. We feel very blessed that our IVF journey was so straightforward and short. I couldn't wait for the blood test and started POAS 6dpt... my very faint positive didn't show up until about day 8 or 9 though from memory!
I hope that helps and all the best for a quick and positive result for you! also, Use ice to numb those injection sites!! it makes a world of difference!

Mustangkt- I didnt feel any kind of side effect today which I thought was strange, I'd really prepped myself for some. It is only day 1 though and quite frankly because of my pcos my hormones are always a muck so maybe I won't notice any difference. Lol.
Hopefully you get some sleep tonight, there's nothing worse than trying to function at work on no sleep!
Liesey- thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm really happy for you that you will be able to finally complete your family! I bet you can't wait to meet your lil girl. Have you picked out a name for her?
