Yes I have done two cycles with Wazza and four cycles with Molloy. Wazza is amazing and has worked his magic on lots of ladies. Although for me, I think he stims me very high.
I have a friend that has cycled with Dr O and she talks very high of him.
I'm just not sure if I should change to Dr O next year or just do another cycle with Wazza.

Kalli - You are a marvel, thanks so much for all the tips. It sounds like you were so so sick, just terrible. I got Blackmore's morning sickness tabs the other day but I think they are actually making me sicker so I've stopped taking them. You're so right, my fav 'life saving' foods I now can't stand. Salada's with vegie, yukko!!! Im still eating corn cakes with vegie though but I don't know for how much longer. lol. I think I might try the sickness bands. Good idea, not drinking and eating at the same time. I'm eating all the time now cause it makes me feel better, just small meals. In a way, I'm happy I'm sick cause it means that baby is still going strong. Thanks again for all the tips. I really hope next time you're pregnant you don't get as sick as you did the 1st time, it must have been horrific. xox

Welcome Amandamoo!!! Sorry to hear you haven't been able to fall yet.

As JG says, Dr O is the best. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be 12 weeks pregnant. He is a wonderful man, very sweet and caring. I went to him last year due to recurrent miscarriages and he finally found out what was wrong after 10 years with other Specialists. After fixing me up we then couldn't fall so with my age (37) hubby and I decided IVF was needed. I started my first round in August and was so lucky we got pregnant first pop. I've seen Dr O every week since for an ultrasound. I had a bad first 7 weeks with bleeding and he took care of me and nursed me through. He really is fantastic. It a big decision to change your Ob, so good luck. You won't be disappointed with Dr O's caring way though.

Angels - I went off the crinone after falling too. But because I have a short luteal phase Dr O put me on progestrone pesaries. At first I was only on 200mg per day but when i started bleeding at 5 1/2 weeks he upped it to 600mg and it's been fine since. Im now starting to go off it because I've hit 12 weeks. I would call Dr O and just see what he says. How are you feeling at the mo? Im so exciting and happy for you, is this your first time pregnant?

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all good....just a quick check in from me, nothing really to report, just living life outside of IVF for a while!!

Amandamoo - I know your name (in a non-stalkerish way!) as I often look at the Brisbane threads since we may move back to Brisbane soon. It's really interesting that you are considering moving to Dr O from Wazza....

My experience with Monash has been nothing short of wonderful and if you are travelling from Bris the good points are that they are always efficient and quick at doing bloods and Dr O is ALWAYS on time (I have no idea how he does that ), also you can usually get in for an appointment with him pretty easily compared with what others say about their Drs (eg if I rang up today I am sure I could get an appointment this week). Also the nurses tell me they have people travelling to Dr O from Darwin so they must be pretty accommodating if someone can manage that!! And like the others I am sure Dr O is the right person for us, despite not falling pregnant yet. He is always looking for a solution, not just rolling the dice and hoping it works the next time.

At 14 embryos transferred you must be the strongest person in the world and well and truly ready for a solution. Maybe an initial consult with Dr O could help to see if he can discuss your options and you can compare it with your current plan before making a decision?

okay, will stop gushing about Monash now.....

    Kitty,

Thanks heaps for your reply ! To be honest I'm the most impatient person in the world... so this IVF 'ride' is just killing me to say the least.
I had DD when I was 18 so back when we first started IVF all fingers were pointing at my DH (not DD biological father). After a few cycles using me DH with TESA we were both over it so decided to go donor to see if that will make the difference (it took us a few years to make this decision). At the end of the day we both just want a baby so agreed on donor sperm... but after a couple of cycles using donor and it still hasn't worked this is where we find ourselves today. I have never had a regular cycle so not sure if that has something to do with it? I have heard great things about Dr O... might do one last cycle with Wazza next year.
    Thanks again
