I've been quiet because I am waiting....waiting....waiting....soooooo patiently......or not . 8 DPO and I usually have to wait 16 DPO for AF to arrive, so I am only at the half-way point now! Hope your bt and u/s results are goode and everyone else is travelling well

I am new to this site. Never realised there were sooo many people with similar issues to me! I guess that's not a good thing but it sure helps to read all of the success stories. Hope you don't mind me joining in
I have just begun the rollercoaster that is AC. I didn't get a period for 10 months up until I finished Provera around 2 weeks ago. I kept thinking I might be pregnant but after a while I got worried and went to the dr. That's when I was tested for PCOS. I never knew I had it because I had been on the pill for so long. I am also insulin resistant, tried Metformin but could not handle it as it made me vomit on a daily basis!
So I am currently on CD 12, I had Clomid 50mg on days 5-9 and I am on a full tracking cycle. I had bloods on day 10 and they showed no action at all. I'm not sure if that's normal, is any of this normal?? Certainly not for most people! I am booked for a scan and BT on day 15 to see if things are moving along. I am terrified that I wont ovulate at all. Trying to stay positive is tricky when there is so much unknown.
Does anyone know what is 'normal' in terms of ovulation day with Clomid? I guess it's different for everyone. I am doing op tests but so far have not seen anything.
I just want to say congrats and thanks to everyone on this thread for being brave enough to share your experiences, it means a lot as this is a subject that is hard to discuss with most people.

Ladydee - Good to hear your trying another FSH cycle before IVF. Are you starting off on a higher dose this time around? that you won't even have to look into IVF. Hope AF hasn't been too evil.
Angela - Thats great news about your follies. Did you get your bloods back to say whether you have ovulated yet?
Elly - Hope your keeping busy for your TWW. I'll be keeping my for you.
Violet - Welcome to the thread!! The ladies in here are very supportive and so full of information. The general time for ovulation is around day 14. Sometimes it can be a couple of days earlier or later. As you said it can vary per person. By showing no action at all I guess you mean your follies aren't growing. 50mg is normally the lowest does they start you on and if it doesn't work first cycle they may then look at increasing your dose next cycle. Good luck and hopefully your stay in here is short.
AFM: I had a bit of a scare last night. I was on my best friends pub crawl (of course no drinking for me) and when I went to the loo there was a bit of blood in my knickers and when I wiped. The more I wiped though it disappeared. My bf has had a miscarriage before so she described to me what she experienced and it was noting like what I had. I had no pain and I kept going to the loo all night and nothing more came. I woke up this morning feeling fine and still have all of the same pregnancy symptoms as before. I'm off to see one of my specialists on Tuesday so hopefully he can do a scan for me and make sure everything is still ok. If it was alot more blood or I was in pain then I would have gone to the hospital but as I'm not I thought I'd just wait until Tuesday.
Please stay sticky little one!!!

Thanks Angela.... I'm 6 weeks today (by my dates). Awesome job with your follies!!! I just did random jobs around the house that you never normally do to keep me occupied. It actually felt like it went pretty fast for me. This is the time that's now dragging lol.... but only because I can't wait until my first scan.
Lissa - Some of the ladies in the due thread I'm in have had bleeding too so it seems pretty common..... still stressful though when you see it. How are you feeling??
AFM: Well the nausea really kicked in this morning... I felt like I had been up drinking all night lol. Certain food has started to make me feel sick too.... today there was a cooking show on the TV at work and they were cooking duck and it made me feel all funny lol.
Hope everyone else is keeping well. I'll keep checking back for updates!!

Sammy - I'm sure all is well . I think it is pretty natural for ladies who have been trying so long to panic at everything, I know I will be!
Violet - Welcome It can vary, but it looks like I get O on typical day 14.
AFM: My temps appear to be starting their descent, just like last month. Pooey! Although I am still getting a feeling of pressure in my ovary which I have had since O. But I am not hopeful

I'm on my phone so apologies for Aby weird autocorrects that might happen!
Violet - welcome! I hope your stay in here is short and you get your bfp soon. May was my first month on clomid, I took it from day 5-9 and then only had one bt on cd21 which showed a progesterone level of 20.6 which apparently is quite good. When the tests are done and how many tests are done seems to change so much from one person to the next. Now I'm just being told to keep taking the clomid not have any bts and only call my gyno when I need a new script.
Sammy, I hope the bleeding has settled down and that all is going well again. Fingers crossed that everything is good now.
Afm - cd 30, 13 days po today. Gave in and tested by poas on Sunday but a bfn. Surprise surprise! I have been so tired and dizzy the last few days for hours at a time and am craving chicken satay like you wouldn't believe, but I think af will be here in the next day or two, it's not any sign of pg unfortunately. Thinking of only taking clomid next cycle then waiting for appt with the proper fs in September to see what she recommends. Don't want to keep taking clomid till then (which would be month 5) and then be told I have to take a break from it for 6 months after that. Anyway, lunch is over. Thinking of you all and hoping you're all well xoxo
