i posted this last year when it came out and it seems opinions are still the same-yeh the dancing is fantastic and their is skill there, but those costumes and some of the moves are totally not age-appropriate
even the song- i mean surely they can do a wicked dance to a more appropriate song too- i wouldnt like watching my DD dance to a song that she wouldnt even understand.

I agree that the costumes are ridiculous, and they would have looked much more appropriate wearing what beyonce does in the video clip. But man, that is intense! The dancing is amazing!

I wouldn't mind if my daughter danced to that song (my yet-to-be-conceived-daughter) but she's gotta dance like this :

The little girls are fantastic dancers but I think their costumes and the moves are very inappropriate for their age.

I'm logging on with my phone so I can watch (youtube banned at work)

Umm.. Wow. Holy crap. That is.. umm. Well you know what, their dancing might have been good... but it just looked like a bunch of tiny 17 year old girls in a raunchy film clip.

I'm buying my daughter a pony. Jodphurs and collared shirts all the way.

PS - Sleepless, I definitely prefer your version. Lol

Okay, I preface this with the fact that I am a little over-emotional today, and am not feeling at my most eloquent, but this made me want to cry. I completely agree with what most people have said - great dancers, terrible costumes, inappropriate dance moves.

DD is still a baby, and there are so many things that I wish I could protect her from in life. I know you can't, and I know our mothers couldn't, but they have such little time to be children. This just made me sad

They are dancing like adult women dance. Its completely inappropriate.

These girls don't have curves, or breast or even a butt! They aren't even starting to develop. They are 7yr olds!

Last i checked 7yr olds played with dolls, liked pretty things and rode their bike. Not dancing like adult dancers dressed in lingerie!

What on earth are their parents thinking letting them do this?

Its just wrong on so many levels.

They have amazing abilities and even that i have to question, how many hours are these kids doing dancing a week? From my exprience, they must be trained very very hard to get to that level for their age.

I wish they could show off their talents without the adult moves.

We see enough of that in everyday life, the last thing i want to see is young girls do it

    how incredibly sad!

    Wow.... Ummm....... Wow.

I think it's great that the seem to have... A passion for dancing.... but I think this is extremely inappropriate to say the least.

i am actually more appaled that people are calling talented 7yr old girls whores

the dancing was great. I think if the costume was baby pink and blue people wouldnt think its so 'sexy'
