Default How old was your child/ren When you spent your first night apart from them?

DD is 22 months and I still haven't.
Aside from the fact she's a Devil at night and we have no one to babysit I don't know how I would cope
I mean I Love her to bits but a weekend away before this babe is born would be lovely!

My partner took him away for two nights when he was about 27 months, in december.

Not sure if I'm ready to leave him all night with somebody else.

Almost 2 years here and no sign of a night apart any time soon.

Similar to your little one, our ds is a little monster come sleep time. Once he's there, he's fine but it still rules out a night away.

Bub #2 on the way here as well and yes, it would be nice to have a night off. I've resigned myself to the fact that we won't - something to enjoy in a few years instead!

5, nearly 6 years of age. Then again at 6, almost 7. Both only for one night, less than 24 hours at a time. I like it this way though. Only let her go because her grandma wanted to have her for a sleepover, not because I particularly had anything planned. In fact I went out drinking with a friend one of the nights and fell asleep at 11:30pm in a nightclub. No I wasn't drunk, wasn't drinking at all actually other than 2 light beers at home early in the night. Was just to used to being home at that time. The other time it was mid-week so my mum picked her up after I finished work one night at 5 and my brother drove her back at about 8 in the morning and she came to work with me.

DD was 4 months the first time and my partner had her. I left her again at 26 months for 2 nights when I had DS. The first night, my mum and dad stayed with her at my house, the second night before I came home from hospital, DF was there. I have left my son once overnight with DF at about 5 months.

    1 year old.

Before 2 years he'd only been away for the night twice though.

Though in the last 2 months (he's 26months) he's had 3 sleep overs with grandparents.

My mum has offered to have him every second Friday
