With part time placement is at the end of the semesters. And we have 12 weeks to complete it each block, which makes it easier. You can be online whenever suits you. They do online chat session with the teachers at certain times but you get a vote as to which time suits you and then you just chat about what you have been doing and learning. It is helpful.

Happy to help. I know how hard it is to get info... took me months to find what i wanted.
Did you end up calling??

Yeah, and it's been engaged every time I call!! So I emailed the director of nursing yesterday but haven't heard back
I really want to start in aug, but am not sure as I would need to start placement at the end of my first semester which would be end of this year I think and I'm not ready to put DS in care til he is 1, which is march... Do you think I would start placement this year?? Or not til after first residential school which is in Jan 2012?? Sorry, hope this makes some sense!!

You do you placements after each semester which is after resi school. My resi school is in September as i started in March and my placement starts from October 3rd to 23rd December. So i need to complete 80hrs of placement within that 12 weeks.

Finally got onto the lady!!! So enrollment not open yet but I have all the papers to fill out etc and i need to sit the computer test, which also isn't open to do yet. So I send back all papers etc and wait to do test. Did u do the comp test? I'm assuming it's not hard?? Getting so excited/ nervous
28-05-2011 20:07 #39
Nope, not hard at all. The referencing they make you do is a bit frustrating but once you know how they want you to do it, its fine.
How exciting for you
I'm still feeling nervous

After all that I've decided to sit STAT again and possibly do a PCA and try to get into B nursing, and if I don't, will start tafe in march.
If I start in aug, it means resi school in Jan and I'll miss dd1 first dAys of prep and I'm also getting married in dec, just bit too much at the moment.
Thanks for all your help, hope it's going well
