My muscles are so sore today. And I swear the sickness fairy is going to DH has been sick with strep throat, DD has croup and I was sick on Thursday and Friday with the flu. So I wasn't able to exercise over the weekend, so then on Sunday and Monday I excised twice as much just too catch up, but now I'm so sore
Currently I have been doing daily push up, crunch, leg extension and squat pyramids, plus I try to walk 4kms two or three times a week and I've just introduced one minute skipping intervals. Today I did 5 one minute skipping intervals. I am really slow and only get about 50 skips a minute but 5 minutes makes 250 skips, so it all counts.
I don't remember a time when I wasn't this size. So if I could get to a size 16 and be able to shop outside of the plus sized section I would be stoked.
Kribby good luck with the IVF process. We all have faith that you will continue to eat well and exercise, even if you have to slow it down a notch. Sending lots of love, positivity and strength and your way.
Tomorrow is weigh in day for me. So fingers crossed I do ok

I would love to join in again. I popped in awhile back, but am keen to become a regular. I, too, was inspired by Kribby's thread
So I started my new lifestyle on Thursday weighing 117.4kg. Just 600g short of my full term pregnancy weight
I am following a fitness eating plan and doing really well to date. Even on Mothers Day (which was a free food day, as it was a Sunday) I ate really well. Peaked at the scales and am heading for a good first week loss. I will weigh in officially on Thursday.
Managed to start the exercise up this week, 2 sessions on the treadmill this week, starting gym classes tomorrow
Hope to get to know you all in here

Kribby, I have my heart and my fingers crossed for you..I know an amazing thing happened for a person I love today, so hopefully it is everyone's week.
Bam..I make up my own shakes out of sustagen, flaxseed oil, wheatgerm and cottage cheese....I can't bring myself to walk into a shop and buy any, but I hear the Aldi ones are ok.
Yay Zephani, weigh in day tomorrow..I am excited!!!
I have moved my main meal to the middle of the day, and doing shakes morning and night to see if that helps. DD goes to daycare in the morning so I am going to go for a bushwalk and then come home and write assignments. Cannot wait.

well weighed in this morning, and because the scales are stupid, I am posting the average of the 10 different readings they recorded..so now at 96.2. A week ago it was 97.5 so that is good. I should be mega stoked in a couple of weeks..

Hi all, sucked it up and got back on the wagon on Friday, can't stuff around anymore, I'm getting married in 17 weeks!!! Doctors gave me a duromine prescription to help out my dodgy metabolism. I went to chemist warehouse & got the cheaper version of it, haven't had any side affects with their brand, only dry mouth but helps with the water intake since Friday I think iv lost 4.1kgs, hoping to hit 5kgs gone on Friday, I need the kick start for motivation. This mornings weight was 105kgs flat.
Welcome to all the newbies
Sorry no time for personals, off to the drs to see if my whooping cough is gone & see if I'm safe to start excersising without gasping for breath
