Hi PM,
Great to hear you got there safe n sound. Hope the accom search turns something up v quickly cos it would be a tad stressful! I bet the cold is a bit of a shock to a system too - but the great thing is you'll be coming up for Spring really soon and so will get 2 summers in a year. Gotta love that!
Jen - thinking of you in the 2ww. Wish I had some tips to preserve the sanity, but it got to me every time. I reckon keeping busy helps though.
to Keziah, Feebs, Shelby and Sarah - and anyone else Ive missed!

Hi Anemone,
thanks, I feel quite tense the last day. Little things are getting to me and I have been snapping, thinking it might be af coming on? hope not. I thought I may get on here this morning to preserve a bit of sanity because in here I feel more comfortable, where other women, all women know and understand what is going on.Its like walking around with a time bomb about to go off.
I will remain calm today I promise!!
Its a relief knowing we can all have a little vent on here now and then.
still got my fingers crossed and I hope you are doing well with your bub xoxox Jen.

Well poo bum bugger, I finally get back to you lovely ladies and Jen, oh gorgy gal, I started to read back and saw what a fantabulously awesome fertilisation you had, (go Grade A embies). I know this AF is going to be devastating but I am really really hoping that one of these remaining embies will be your bubba. You are really sticking in there for the long haul and I am so proud of you....you go gal....you WILL achieve your dream. I can feel it in my Zumba weary bones. In the meantime - huuuuuuuuge hugs.
Anemone - how are ya my preggy one? Time must be ticking by very quickly now. Sorry to hear ab the Gest Diabetes Test. Glad the 2nd one was better. Got ze nursery all ready? What's your colour theme/style etc....
Pommiemum - wow - back in the UK already....I do go MIA n LOADS happens eh. Now bublette, hang in there coz your Mamma wants to get settled. Congrats hun, I hope it all works out for you (even tho you were brought back with fingernail marks left in Ozzie soil - dragged away slightly kicking n screamin hahaha)....
Sarah - I was put on high dose folate too (5mg) when I went to fertility specialist. At the moment I am just slowing getting back onto everything. Multi B, fish oil, yup ze folate, Lipoic Acid n some Metagenics herbs to make those ovaries nice n juicy. Hubby went in for another sperm test this wk....he wanted 'assistance' this time which can really make the whole 'sterile situation' more comfortable. We do it at home and then he rugs it up and runs it in. More relaxed that way (just meant that I was left high n dry hahaha). Just a thought for anyone's partners feeling the pressure in that dept. Oh and Sarah - you are a WINNER (but not a Charlie Sheen one hahaha) - congrats on ze computer outcome....phew.....a +++++ result....now let's get you that other +++++ result you so deserve....xxx
Feebs - How ya doin hun and what are you up to? Happy belated my dear. I am right behind you so don't let that number 43 get you down coz I will be here to pick you right up again.... Glad you had a good one, you deserve it and awesome news about DH doing ze test. Woo Hoo....xxx
Shelbymay - welcome welcome - hope your stay is short n sweet...)) Gorgy group in here that's for sure....
AFM: I did a whole mth of strictly no alcohol, that was really easy and I enjoyed it...it leveled out my moods and I felt more in control of everything I tackled. Broke the drought by enjoying a few biodynamic/organic wines at 12.50 a glass!! Uber yummy restaurant tho.... Speaking of tackling I have officially signed my death cert haha and I am about to teach my first official Zumba class next wk. So friggin nervous. I have been practicing my choreo like a demon. More nervous than when we did IVF. haha Wish me luck (I am excited tho - what an adventure, I feel like Olivia NJ reliving the 80's with all my fluro colours)....woo hoo....
I feel better in myself, my body is changing from all this extra exercise and I am so much more happier. As I mentioned above - ze boy has done another test. Curious to see if that IVF period was a freak low low count coz of the meds he is on for the kidney failure or if he is consistently low. Will have to get a wriggle on and do another cycle before August coz we aint got frosties from last yr and our clinic wont take women after 43yrs (43 - I am going to be 43 this yr - EEK, my GOD this journey has gone on forever). I do hope it happens for us - preferably sooner rather than later. Starting to feel the familiar O pains stirring so expecting to O soon. I haven't been tracking or recording anything these days.
It's definitely time we punched out a few more BFP's eh girls - who's in??? hehehe
So sorry if I have missed anyone....big waves....
Muchos Baby Dustto you all....xmwah mwah mwahx
PS: Hugs and prayers for all our Japanese/New Zealand/Qld neighbours....wot on earth is going on with our earth....(((((

Hi ladies,
Hey Kez, sounds as though you are in a good place at the moment and I am excited for you with your teaching Zumba classes! wow!! I would be Sh***ing bricks! Hows the wonderbean?
Its amazing how better we feel for going alcohol free isn't it? I found it became a depressant more than anything so I feel much better for abstaining.
Unfortunately I dont have any frosties so I may try another cycle with whats left from hubbys frozen sperm. We have been talking about getting his vasectomy reversed, looks like that will be our last option. When we started this journey,(09) vasectomy wasn't covered by medicare, and obviously didn't think it would take so long ttc. DH was dead against reversal back then, but now its getting to be final option for us otherwise there is no hope. He already has 4 adult kids from previous marriage so he doesn't fully understand my journey.
Pommie, how the uk? have you found a place yet? I hope its not too crowded at your in-laws place.
Anemone, hope you and bub are going well.
Sarah how are things with you?
Feebs and shelby hope you are both doing ok.
here we go again!
running out of time
love to all Jen xox

bit of an update
Hi ladies
thank you all for you wonderfull support recently - as you can definately feel very alone on this journey - despite who is actually around you. Well, I am expecting O any day now (prob some time between now and the next 3-4 days). DP and I have been DTD every 2-3 days over the last week and am hoping to amp it up once I see positive signs for O.
I went and got 'concieve plus' to assist us this month altho was funny trying to explain to the other half that "no babe, its not that i think we need a lubricant" LOL
. A little stressed atm cause I have friends visiting this weekend from interstate and am also babysitting 3 kiddies on Sat nite and in my head i am going - but dont you people know that I should be ovulating!!!!
I went to the Doc and she is wanting me to keep giving it a go naturally for this cycle and the next b4 writing a referral to FS - that will then be 12 months off the pill and 4 solid months of TTC. I only have to try naturally for 6 months - due to being the big bloody 40. Here's to not needing the referral!!!
I hope everyone is doing well and even if having a rough time, that you have the strength to see why you are doing what you are doing so that this will motivate you and pull you through.
Cheers
Shelby

Hi Girls,
Sorry I have been such a crappy cyber sister at the moment. Working two schools is like having two jobs, I would say lol but I am not laughing at the moment!!!!!! No it is not that bad, I am less stressed by being at another school part of the week, I just seem to be constantly in meetings. No more though. West is my base school so I am only going to attend meetings and PD there regardless of what other principal says!!! There that's my gripe over and done with.
I think the mega dose of folic acid is working - I was 5 whole days late, sadly the blob monster (as my husband calls it) turned up eventaully but it gives us some hope. I have however found another little glitch!!! My back has been a bone of contention for ever and a day. It hurts constantly in my lower back and is worse around o and af..... I went to see the chiro the other day who has taken xrays and an ultrasound sort of scan of my nerves. The nerves in my lower back are inflamed which is all to do with my reproductive system. He is confident he can sort it out for me. I have been adjusted once and am already feeling better. Another go tom, so fingers crossed for this month.
Soz girls I was going to do personals but my dh has just walked in from pricing a job and wants to take the Kombi out for a little jollie. I will try much harder to be a good cyber sister. Hopefully my dh will pick the pc up tom as they finally called on Friday to say it is ready.
Muchos lovos to you all,
Sarah

Hi All,
Slack cyber sis checking in again to do personals.
Hi Jen, my heart is with you lovely. I have everything crossed that you won't be waiting too much longer. Mwah xxx
Eat lots of raw low gi veggies in the first instance, if you want fruit eat low gi such as pears, apples, peaches and even grapes and cherries. All good for you also try to eat as much wholegrain stuff as possible, well not as much as possible, I mean in place of white grain stuff. I was on insulin through my pregnancy and even though it wasn't bad, I would avoid it if you can. Best of low gi luck lovely girl.
Hello sweetie, thankfully all fish oil caps are mercury free. Where are you in the UK? Go and have a nice big bag of chips for me with lots of brown vinegar, yum, yum, yum. Hope you have found somewhere nice to stay so that when the little one comes along you will all be settled. Much love to you.
Go gorgeous Zumba girl. I bet you are looking fabulous - a shame really that very soon you will have a baby bump to spoil all your hard work. I am sure that DH's latest test will be amazing and you'll have lots of fun testing him out, lol. Keep taking the vits, I really do feel they work. Mwah, xxx
Hi Shelby, I'm gald we are able to support you on your journey. It really does make all the difference being able to share / vent. Lots ofto you.
Love to you all beautiful ladies.

Hi Lovely Ladies,
Hope you had a terrific weekend. Hugs and kisses to all
Jenso sorry, I really thought this was your time after such a positive start. Hope you take some time to be kind to yourself before making plans for the next cycle.
Keziah, hello gorgy, how did the Zumba class go? Glad to hear its still bringing you much joy. Hope DH gets great test results and you are all set to get back on the roller coaster.
Shelby, sadly people around you can be unthinkingly insensitive. I've learnt more from these gorgeous girls in 12 months than I can say. We're here for you whenever you need.
Sarah, glad you're going to get the computer back soon. I know you have another anniversary coming up next weekend, I'll be thinking of you. We're in Manchester which is my home town. Sounds like you are working hard, hope you are finding some play time too. I had the reverse problem, no nerve activity in the lower regions, I was adjusted and managed to get back both the function and got PG next time round.same goes for you too.
Anemone hope all is well with you and that you are going to get a little time off before the big event. Are you sleeping OK?
AFM - find out whether we've got a rental next week so hopefully will be settled before bubs puts in an appearance. Already plotting if/when I can get back to Oz. Love to all xxmwahxx

Jen - so sorry to hear this was not your time.
So fricken upsetting, esp when things were looking so good. I hope you can take some time out, regroup and that your FS can come up with some ideas for next time. As you say, perhaps a vas reversal could be an idea...
Sarah - wow, that sounds busy! Glad you have some time away from the old school though. Interesting about the pelvic nerves - maybe a course of chiro could really help out there and fire things up ready for a BFP! Ive never had chiro but know ppl who swear by it.
Thanks for the low-GI tips too. My second GDM screen came back normal but I just want to be careful given my family history. All those fruits you mentioned are ones I like so that should be easy...and Im careful to always choose wholegrain bread that's low-GI.
Shelby = GL for this month. Doesnt it suck when your social life gets in the way of babymaking? But hopefully you'll be right, esp if you manage to DTD in the run-up to O. LOL on the lubricant - my DH got bamboozled cos Id bring home a different type to try on a monthly basis!
Keziah - hey babe, great to hear from you! And wonderful that you have found not just a hobby but a career in Zumba. Way to go, girl!! I love your positive outlook and energy! Sounds like your body is going great guns from all the exercise and no alcohol, and supplements etc. Hope Dh's next test gives good results!
Hope planning the next IVF cycle goes well. Good to get onto it quickly like you say, just in case there's some reason why you cant start the month you want to..
No nursery themes happening for the moment, just keeping it simple and concentrating on getting the essentials...
Yes, so scary the situations in NZ and esp Japan. My heart goes out to those affected, it is just too awful.
PM - great to hear from you. FX about the rental! Its a stressful business, that's for sure. Have you had fun catching up with rellies and friends? And M&S shopping - god their food used to be so good...and their undies too!
Im sleeping a bit better now its cooler here thanks - better make the most of it! Hope you've found yourself a good hosp etc - its a lot to organise, thats for sure.
Take care & stay dry Sydney ppl - its just incredible the deluge we've had on the WE. (Although nothing like parts of VIc and QLD earlier in the year, thank god). We found a drenched baby rat in the driveway yesterday. Well, maybe a rat, maybe something else - moved it to shelter - hope it was OK...
