Default What are you doing on the 1st day of the new year?

I've started the day making pikelets for DS and DD's breakfast, and then actually cleaning up after myself (usually leave it to the end of the day or just before DH gets home from work). Have put on the washing, dressed the kids, cleaned the toilets, and am now going to do the bathroom.

Cleaning is so mundane! Thought maybe it might help to share it with some other hubbers - or what ever you are doing... so what is everyone else up to today?

Gardening sounds nice waterlily, hope you get it done before it gets too hot today. Our DD loves watching the tomatos and zucchinis growing in pots on our deck.

    What's in your garden?

We are going to see Myer Windows and the Crown Atrium. My parents are in an apartment in the city for a week. Making the most of scabbing off them
I think I may have a very slight hangover from last night. Made up for not being able to drink the last two NY's because I was BF.

Heading to Maccas for breakfast as we ended up with nieces and nephews sleeping here last night and need to get them out of the house!

Then I think I will come home to sleep since my DS only wanted me to get 2 hours sleep between 4-6!

Tonight we are going out for dinner as I am 26 today!!

I'm still lying in bed.The baby has had a terrible night and I just got her back to sleep so I'm not moving until she wakes up.

Then just lounging infront of the air conditioner watching TV.
