Thanks I don't dwell on it, I had my little meltdown about it early in the piece when the possibilities really dawned on me when we first started ttc, I think it did me good to consider things, freak out a little then file it all away and just think positive.
I have thought about asprin but it actually works on a different clotting factor in the blood than the problem with FVL, although I'm sure it can't hurt keep the blood thin in other ways anyway. If I have to clexane then so be it, I've used it before flying and its a small price to pay. Plus I found a technique for jabbing that really helped with the bruising!

My haematologist recommended the baby asprin for factor v and if you research you'll find this is usually the first treatment after recurrent miscarriages.

Oh don't worry, I'm researched up! After my mum had the PEs, I became like the research queen! I was living in another country at the time and it felt like all I could really do This was before I had the tests myself.

It seems to depend on which specialist you speak to, doesn't it? I think the general consensus seems to be that it can help, and definitely can't hurt to try.

I have a sister in law who had to be on aspirin for her entire pregnancy because during her first her little one stopped growing. It's a handy multipurpose little pill, isn't it?!

Oh, can you please tell me a little more about the acupuncture? I've never had it, don't really know much about it. Is it just good for circulation or does it work in other ways too?

It is very good for circulation but good for fertility too. Last time I was ttc I fell pregnant after my second cycle of acupuncture. If I'm not utd this cycle I'll be going back.

Any news cheekime? I have done some cheap tests and mayyyyybe I can see a smudge but I think that I'm just staring so long at it I am imagining things. I wish I didn't 'need' to know I was pregnant so I can start on clexane and progesterone and just be one of those people they make tv shows about who didnt know they were pregnant until they went into labour. Sigh....

I have everything crossed that it is a line. Af from hell here boo! 28 days from spotting whereas I was counting from full flow so a bit disappointing. I wish we could also choose when to be pregnant instead of all this ttc grrr

What do I do? Do I start clexane today? I think I'm about 10dpo.. Freaking out right now. I might book an appointment and make my dr give me my first one.

    Hi ladies,
have been following your journey, but not saying much. Hoping it's double lines for you!!!
Definitely contact your specialist straight away - you never know when they are able to 'fit' you in. Sometimes they like to do a scan first before starting the clexane.

Who had the technique for jabbing well? What is it - do share!!

Would either of you ladies know if we have to use a specific brand of baby asprin. I have been taking maynepharma (baby dose) between o and af for the last 5 months. Haven't started yet this month, but probably will tonight as I'm now 3dpo. So hoping for that BFP this month...

I take cardiprin... I'm not sure if there's a difference, but I just take one a day from o to af... Or to bfp and beyond
