Lindylou - so sorry to hear about the BFN - it is never easy! I am glad you are determined for kick off again in early 2012!
Paddlegirl all the best for ET
EO Thanks for asking, the fetal med specialist doesn't think the bubs kidney problem is a marker for downs and is satisfied with the extensive scan they did there are no more probs and he doesnt recommend an amnio. The kidney problem will need monitoring and he thinks its likely to get worse so awaiting another scan in 5 weeks for more info
Hope all good with you
AFM - moving house this week so may be out of contact but will keep an eye on you all on DH's iphone! Hope ur all keeping cool on this lovely day!

Hi ladies!!! Hope you all had a lovely weekend
I have a quick question..... Have any of you felt really nauseous while on pessaries??? I'm only 7dpt but have feeling a bit queasy on and off for a week. This morning I actually felt so sick I threw up (TMI) and then had to pull over twice on my way to work and was sick again. I didn't feel this bad last time, not sure what's going on.

I've never been nauseous off the pessaries or crinone...
Hmm 7dpt? And was that a blastie? So you'd be 12dpo? I say... POAS!!!!

Sorry... That's my addict side coming out! I'd POAS if I were you...
The pessaries could probably make you nauseous, you may be best off calling your clinic nurses and asking them. They'll be able to tell you if it's a common side effect.
I personally think you are UTD!
Hope you feel better soon xo

thanks for your kind wishes of good luck. I had ET on Mon (yesterday) so yes I am PUPO now!
On Fri 21/10, they said all 9 embryos were starting to divide
On Sun, the clinic had said that they were all compacting.
On Mon, at the ET, the scientist said they are putting in the best one (naturally) and the others arent quite there yet so they would give them one more day.
Today they rang and said they have been able to freeze only one. The rest werent good enough.
I'm puzzled. It sounded in the early days following EPU that they were doing well (DH joking about us having 9 kids, shows how naive we were DH and I were a bit disappointed, we were hoping for at least a few frosties. (We had none from Stim Cycle 1 in July). Have to do some research, my best guess is we might not have good egg/ sperm quality and our ages are a factor...
Will come back to do personals

quartz, I have not had nausea or thrown up from progesterone (I use the Crinone, not the pessaries, but I imagine they are the same ingredients). Hope it means you are UTD! Did you call the clinic to ask them if its a side effect?

Paddlegirl - reading that was like deja-vu for me! With my July stim cycle I had 11 embryos going strong (sure, a couple lagging a bit but all positive from FS & scientists)...one put back in and told they'd call the next day regarding how many were frozen...THREE! Out of the ten we had left! Maybe we were naive too, but I was so disappointed!
Quartz - I never felt sick on the pessaries...hopefully it's a good sign for you
Disappointing news from me I'm afraid. AF showed up today, 8DPT, 14 DPO - like clockwork
Not sure what our next step will be. We both feel very disheartened by the whole process and it's just hard to believe it will ever actually happen for us. I know that many of you have done way more cycles than I have, but I'm just not sure how long I can keep it up. I do think I want to do at least one more stim cycle as I am not ready to give up just yet, but not sure how soon I will do that.
I phoned Genea today as I think I want a 2nd opinion. I am looking at Dr Lok (Liverpool is easiest for me to get to)- Lindy/Nat/EO - I think I read (when I was researching him) that you guys have seen him? Any thoughts/comments? Or anyone else? I can get in to see him within 3 weeks. I have a follow up with my FS in 3 weeks so I might wait to see what he says first.
Also, is anyone knowledgeable about NK cells? Any other suggestions on why our (apparently great looking) embryos aren't implanting? I just don't want to throw down more $$$ without being armed with some sort of plan. Also, if anyone could suggest questions to ask FS when we see him next I'd really appreciate it. Sometimes I wonder what we're paying them for - I get my most valuable info from my own research and this forum!!!!
Sorry for the me post

Just a quick one from me ladies,
Bella-I am so sorry sweety for your ugly BFN I was praying for a beautiful little miracle for you.. I don't have any advice to give you, I just pray you stay strong & get back on the rollercoaster when you're ready.
Paddlegirl-good luck hun during the TWW! Try not to be too disheartened by having only one frostie, you won't need it until you want another baby
