Im glad you have started a Sydney thread. I love reading all the posts and it gives me great hope. I am at Westmead Fertility Clinic and I think they are fantastic. I did my egg collection yesterday for the first time and only got 4 eggs. 2 fertilized and tomorrow we go back for the implant. (sorry I don't know all the acronyms). I don't know if I should put both in or one and freeze one? To me putting both in would mean more of a chance but I dont know.
Anyhow I wish all of you the best baby dust for 2011. May all your dreams come true.
Ps Not looking forward to the TWW period.

Hello Ladies, just thought I'd pop in and give an update on me. I'm on Day 4 of jabbing and have a BT tomorrow with the hope that everything is reacting the way it should be and I'll be on my 2nd injection tomorrow night as well. I will have a BT and scan on Monday if all is going according to plan. No symptoms of any sort and continuing with my acu. DH tells me I'm becoming very restless in my sleep which doesn't bode well, I was terrible the last time and I don't want to repeat it as I need to remain stress free - most of my stress is heaped on by me - my own worst enemy. A dear friend was due yesterday and another is in hospital, her waters broke last Friday at 32 weeks, bed rest for that one until bub comes. All good.
Nice to meet you Bub4Kylee - keep us all posted on your embies dividing. I read up on putting 2 back yesterday (in prep for my own transfer) and I think now I know a bit more about it I'd rather only put one back, give that bub the best chance possible, there could be a lot of health risks with putting back 2. I've also read that in Australian fertility clinics they strongly advise against it (but there are circumstances where they do allow it). My thoughts are around my age (being 42 in April). But every clinic is different, try to ask all the right questions when you talk to your FS about your options.
25andhopeful, good luck with your transfer if it's on Sunday/Monday - that's when the real wait will begin. Let us all know the date of BT.
Sending good vibes to everyone. Enjoy your weekends.
