FS just phoned.... the endometrial biopsy showed that I had a bit of low grade infection..explains some of my symptoms. I told him I had started the appropriate antibiotics 2 days ago and he was very happy... says he sees this a lot and it should not affect implantation once antibiotics taken. Hmmm it really makes you wonder about the colarado protocol where they use antibiotics pre transfer to eliminate this problem... I wonder if this happens a lot and can cause a lot of bfns.... so glad I found out otherwise I would have most definately got a bfn without even a chance.... although my worry meter has gone up a notch or 3...

Oh, Leannep! i'm so sorry! Did you make it to BT? Good to hear yr ready to go again, but I understand why yr feeling angry as well as disappointed. I felt so angry with my body when I found out I needed D&C... weird since I'd already accepted mc... guess it's just frustrating when yr body doesn't play the game right. Really hoping you get bfp b4 xmas - nice xmas gift. When will you start cycling - right away?

Micca, glad you found out about bug... hopefully this means bfp for you soon

well my cycle has had hiccups from the start... sick with a cold... then got viral gastro.... had the hystereoscopy which showed chronic endometritis infection... so on antibiotics.. then light bleeding that just continued on and on ... thankfully at CD10 it stopped.. (when I stopped the clexane and aspirin) so I had my check today... lining trilaminar at 10mm but no follicles fired up at all with the low dose fsh... bummer so it has now become a medicated hrt FET... I had my estrogen/progesterone levels checked today... I asked the RE about cancelling the cycle and doing it next month but he is pretty sure everything is where it should be and that it still has a good chance of working... he is very blunt and to the point...and would say if it was not so I took a little reassurance... of course if my hormone levels are not satisfactory then I might reconsider... we will see.... So at the moment Im on oestrogen tabs, clexane, prednisone and will start progesterone tabs and pessaries on sunday and look to transfer on weds (day4) or thurs (day5). we will just have to see..... Im sort of feeling a little ambiguous about this cycle and part of me just cant see how it will work...even though the medical side of me knows that with FETs in the usa they use this protocol as a standard.. sigh...
anyway we will see...waiting for estrogen and progesterone results... still open to cancelling if things are not right...sigh...

    Hi everyone,
Can I join? Im seeking some advice.

I've had 3 failed pregnancies now, all around 6 to 7 weeks they start to slow and then no HB at scan. I'm meeting with my FS today to tell him if I'm prepared to have a Hysteroscopy and Laperoscopy. Even though I don't have any symptoms that would necessitate these procedures he seems to think that if we are going to have one more try at ivf we should make sure there is nothing else going on that is preventing a successful pregnancy. My last D&C testing found the embryo to be chromosomally abnormal, my logic tells me that it's my old poor quality eggs that is my issue and no need to have these invasive procedures before kicking off on my last ivf cycle, and we should get on with the next cycle.

Your thoughts and experienced feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Babydust to you all

catchic... welcome to our lovely thread, you will find lots of support and a wealth of knowledge here...lets hope that you have some success with a new protocol. certainly a hysterscopy and biopsy sounds like a great idea.
How did the appointment go with the FS today?? I would certainly take some DHEA if you are not on it already. Did the FS test your DH sperm for chomosomal issues or fragmentation?? as he is 50% of the solution.

leanne ...I hope that you are regrouping nicely and had a great melbourne cup day...

    lillbirdy
.... how is the 2ww treating you??

well Im just cruising... the drugs are making me feel pretty nauseous...not sure if it is the estrogens or the antibiotics but I will really be happy when I finish the antibiotics...which seems like a lifetime to go.. I had to have a nap this morning I felt so bad. But did manage a walk in the arvo ..
My poor belly looks like a bad junkie unable to find a vein... the clexane that I am taking daily sure has a kick and it bruises... so I am like a dalmation dog with little black circles everywhere (well big really) ...

so the days countdown... will have to phone the scientist on monday...and the nurse which is not far away now.... oh and the bleeding remains settled even with the clexane restarted so Im hoping that it has done its dash for the next 9 months...

Welcome cat chick, you'll find lots of lovely ladies and helpful info here. I have had two early m/C's it's horrible. If you had a chromosmally abnormal pregnancy, it may be worth considering PGD (or CGH) although it is expensive and only available at some clinics. Not sure if you've heard of it but it basically tests embies before transfer to check chromosomes. PM me if you'd like more info. What kind of other tests have you had after m/c ? Bloods etc ? I have had an endometrial biopsy but not a hysteroscopy, my FS didn't think it necessary but possibly worthwhile for you, just to rule everything out.

Micca, hope everything settles down for you for next week.

Leeanne hope you are going ok, when will you start again ?

Afm, out again I'm afraid, it's a bfn. We didnt make it to test tomorrow, for the fifth time on a fresh cycle, I got AF the day before. Just sucks. I have three frosties so will go round again next month.

    Hi to all.

lilibirdy.... big cyber hugs on the bfn... its such a shame ... and sooooo frustrating.... I hope you are able to cry, vent. curse at the world for a while and then drown your self in a few treats... be it food, wine, massage, retail therapy. Im glad that you are thinking of the next cycle...xxx

Hi lilbirdy bug hugs to you Hun it totally sucks I know it feels like it will never end but I'm sure it will. We have gotta use our frosties as I seem to get better results than the fresh ones. I sending you hugs and spoily yourself I have been

Micca I had a great cup day with my friends and had may bubbles I hope your feeling better?

Cat chick welcome and my recommendation is do what they want you to do as they are the specialists and know what they are doing. I hope you have better luck with your next cycle

Hello everyone else how are you going??

Afm I saw my nurse yesterday and I am starting again straight away I have a scan next Thursday and then transfer will probably be the following Friday the 18th if it goes to plan. I'm having both of my frosties put back in and that will be the first time I have had two transferred so heres hoping at least one sticks this time as all I want for Christmas is a sticky baby

Lilbirdy, I'm so sorry for yr bfn . I guess if you consider that it was a bonus one, and you didn't really expect it to work, it's a slight consolation? Doesn't make it any easier tho, does it...
I hope yr frosties are better. Are you starting frozen cycle straight away since you got AF?

Leannep, so glad to hear yr ready to go again so soon. Really hoping one of the 2 frosties will work - good idea trying 2 this time - double yr chances

Hopefully we'll get lots of bfps for Xmas
I've prob got 2-3 wks left b4 starting again, so just keeping busy.
