wannabb - Fantastic news. 6 eggs!!! I cant imagine ever getting so many. Hopefully one of those eggies is holding the golden ticket. Such wonderful news - when will you transfer?

Billiesmum - Yep. It is all good. I was expecting a BFN. AF arrived so now i am planning and thinking about (in a positive manner) the surgery in the next 2 weeks! Thank you for explaining your cycle to me. I still feel like such a novice. BTW I wouldnt worry about the eating bits hear and there - last i heard - grazing is actually good for you, and besides we all need some comfort with what we have to endure.
Lilly40 - Sounds like things are going well. Oh it is so lovely that you are in love with your bub. So happy for you. It is wonderful you are surrounded by docs that are taking wonderful care of you and preparing for all possible scenario's. It is good to be in good hands. Let us know how you go with transferring of hospitals. Are you watching loads of old movies?

Lilly40 - great to hear from you. I am so glad things are going well for bubs. I hope the transfer goes smooth for you.

Wannabb - I hope fertilisation goes well. Good luck with your transfer on whichever day you have it.

Mammalinz - I'm glad your in a better place about the surgery now - it has to be right for you to do it no matter what anyone else says. Don't worry about the clexane - Nick only uses it if you have a clotting disorder so if you don't have one diagnosed you won't have to have it (besides you will have the other needles as I think he always uses luveris and that is why I was given the other needles).

Billiesmum - I hope the sickness is subsiding or at least manageable.

Sunny - how are things going - well I hope.

AFM - just killing time in the TWW - not overly stressed really as I figure the odds are so low that I if I assume the worst I won't be disappointed and be ever so excited if I am wrong.

all 6 eggs fertilized but one had 3 lots DNA. The spermies must be keen for my eggies . So 5 embies. Transfer at thius stage on thurs but will ring lab and see how they are going daily and try to push it out to blast.

Wannabb - thats a great fertilisation rate. I would not worry whether they go back in at day 3 or day 5. I have been told that the "mother ship" is the best place for them to grow and they only grow them out to day 5 so they can exclude any that might not make it. Mine always have gone in on day 2 or 3 and the only difference is the TWW is a bit longer. There is no greater chance of a day 5 blast developing into a bub than a day 3 embie, if it actually has the potential to develop then it will. I believe that whatever the clinic is telling me is the best possible advice and therefore I take it. Good luck.

    Hi Ladies,

Just popped in briefly to say thanks for the warm welcome last week !

Wannabe -- wow 5 embies thats fabulous ! Fingers crossed for you.

Penny -- great idea about transferring the clexane to another needle -- might just have to do that if I have to take it again !

Hope everyone else is travelling along well !

AFM- Feeling a bit hopeless this week -- seeing the specialist on Thursday to see what his advice is for our next step and will ask about DHEA, and some of the other things mentioned in the poor responders section. Any suggestions for other things to ask for would be greatly recieved -- we have done all the tests mentioned in the other forums, no PCOS or end, BMI of 21, don't drink (rarely) or smoke, plus added luveris, and HGH to the mix in various cycles, just get very few numbers of follicles and eggs which seem to be no good !

cjm1- have you had your AMH checked to indicate ovarian reserve. Otherwise not much else I can think of. My FS is using oestrogen priming cycle this time but doesnt increase no of eggs just quality supposedly.

otgirl- hope you are staying relaxed during the tww. I have always had 2 -3 day TF and wanted something different. My last FS believed put em back where they belong ASAP.

afm- restarted clexane last night and used other syringe with small needle and bruise about 10x6 cm huge purple thing. Now am definitely going to try thigh as still have large bruise on other side from last weeks clexane. To scared to try *** as what happens if get huge sore bruise there???

Wannabb, I have changed my clexane 'method' of recent times (after talking to a friend who is on it for DVT for 6 months) and now get either minimal or no bruising at all - might be worth trying?

I do the skin fold pinch to get the needle in (fast like a dart); then I let go of the skin/fat and push the plunger in slowly. Every time it starts to sting I stop pushing until the stinging stops. It takes a little longer to do it this way but I find it much better than all of the bruises I had last time!
