    Default TTC for over 4 years without help now im worried any help!

    hi i have been with my partner for almost 6 years and we havent used protection at all (i was on depo 3month injection when we started going out but stopped after that) we have wanted a baby ever since we got together we have had one sperm test done and came back with low sperm count but everything else was fine. he takes any tablets i give him like menavit and things but nothing is working and i have wanted a baby since i was 12 but didnt want to be a teenage mum, so i waited till i met someone great so we can raise our babies the right way as a family! it is really taking a toll on me im only 24 and think about babies 24 7 anyone with help i will take any info u want to give!

    i cant help much,i know a lady who used depo and couldnt fall pregnant till her first son was 16.very sorry and hope this isnt your case maybe go and see your g.p and allow them to find the answer best of luck to you both!baby dust your way! =)

    I'd be heading to the GP and getting a referral for a fertility specialist Then go from there, good luck!!

    Hi, sorry to hear your struggle.I think you should go see a fertility specialist like peanutbutterandjelly. Dont stress though. your only young it will happe. fingers crossed for you! I hope it happens for you soon.

    Maybe do some research on the fertility specialist near you and make a booking before you get a referral as the specialists may have a long waiting period. Also you need to get referrals for both yourself and your DH as they like to see the couple together. Good luck

    thanks for everyones help it might take some conviincing to go to a fertility specialists i have been speeking to him about it and he isnt to happy with how much it all cost. he said he would rather just keep trying and save the money for the baby (he thinks so much like a man)
    either way i will be going coz it is affecting me in a bad way. i live in brisbane northside so if anyone knows of any really good specialists i would love to hear about them

    i just went to an obgyn who happens to alos work for a fertility organisation, my first visit was 130 and I got 90 back and since then the appt have been 70 and I have gotten 50 back!!!! he is awesome unfortunately he is on the south side of brissie!!!!!

    omg wow that is great i had no idea u can get that much back my doctor told me everytime i go it would cost about $200 and for every treatment of IUI it would cost up too $2000 we would get back maybe $500 and that is what scared him i dont care about the money. only if you dont mind could you let know the name of your doctor as i use to live on southside and my mum and family still do i would make the trip if he is good!

    Hey hun do you get regular cycles? I was on depo this year and ever since my cycles are all over the place and i didnt get my period for over 6 months. The depo provera needle is a very nasty drug. I cried my eyes out when i googled depo, after realising how many woman have struggled to get pregnant years on.
