    oh i LOVE Vanity Fair! i've never liked any of the screen adaptions though, because they *all* try to make Becky into a spunky heroine when she's really as despicable as every other single character in the book!

    My latest favourite though is Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen. Fantastic book.

    LOL. Reece Witherspoon WAS awful as Becky Sharp.
    The BBC adaptaion was not too bad, but by the end you do begin to like her and I never did in the book.
