Sorry, have been away for the past week visiting parents - at least I was well fed
CONGRATULATIONS LOVELY REBECCA AND WELCOME TO THE WORLD BABY ERIC. You're one lucky bub to have such lovely parents. Ignore all advice and spoil him rotten
Millie - bugger, but hell, you've waited SO SO long, what's another month hey??!! Can't waste those precious and expensive embryos
Gardenia2 - good luck Thursday and enjoy
Pinky - hope today's long awaited scan is perfect and it's all systems ahead
Starfish - glad the new job is going well... it is certainly a huge focus of life, so it may as well be as enjoyable as possible...
Yes, we've always been v. big on preparing nay as best we can for a baby - I think he's got a good understanding that bub's cry and sleep alot but that's about it. I'd imagine it will be a rude shock whatever we do having one in HIS house
Trying - how you going lovely? Awaiting next cycle?
AFM - first birth centre appointment is 1.5hours!!!! How the hell can I amuse DS all that time in a tiny office. Toys are boring, there's only so many biscuits he'll eat and he'll want to go AWOL... hmmmm

To my lovely 35+ buddies Starfish, Gardenia & Mum4nay thanks for your lovely messages - your support really means alot!
Todays scan went really well, bub is measuring exactly 12 weeks, HR is 177 and all risks are low for downs etc) (1: 1677 for downs) – for my age and old eggies I am just so unbelieveably relieved. I have been so emotional, i cried through the scan -tears of sheer relief, amazement, happiness, and still a fair amount of shock – can things really go well after 7 full stim cycles???? – hard to believe – we feel so so fortunate and hope things continue. Thanks lovely ladies for your support!!!

wonderful that our UTDers are all progressing so beautifully. You must all be beside yourselves with joy, and now able to sit back a little and enjoy trimester 2. It's always amazing how quickly other people's pregnancies go!!
starfish - hi gorgeous one. I hope your clinic has pulled their finger out and started doing something right for your ED cycle, and that your sister is coping OK with everything. Am I right that all going well, September will be the month? I hope that that new job is keeping your mind happily occupied, with not too much time to dwell on the waiting. Lots of for you lovely lady.
drmummy - have you come down to earth yet? I hope all is going perfectly with little Eric
milliegirl - how totally annoying having to wait yet more time. Surely not in vain though. They'll (1 or 2??) will be popped into a lovely environment, perfect for them to thrive
trying - how are you going hon? Waiting waiting as well.... Hope you are doing alright, keeping your mind on other stuff.
hello to our other fabulous over-35ers hope everyone is doing just fine, preparing to post good news soon...
AFM - AF finally arrived today (3 days late, just to be annoying!), so natural FET kick-off. See how we go..........

PinkB, marvellous news about your scan! I hope you can now sit back and relax and enjoy your pregnancy.
Gardenia, good luck for your scan tomorrow.
Slinky, AF arrived for me on Friday so I guess we will be doing an FET together this month if my body cooperates.
Mum4Nay, hope all is continuing well with your pregnancy lovely!
Millie, waiting with you.
Starfish, hope all is progessing well with you. How are you feeling?
Dr M, if you do check back in here, I'm thinking of you. My DS was an emergency c-section, and it took some time for me to recover both emotionally and physically from that experience. I hope you are enjoying baby Eric and that he is settling in well for you
AFM, well I had a horror AF - my FS had warned me that my first AF after the surgery would be bad and she didn't lie, it was incredibly heavy and incredibly painful. FS was quite chirpy though when I rang her - apparently the fact that I have had such a strong flow is a positive sign that the cervical adhesions have not re-formed. Blood test on Sunday to see what is going on hormonely, then a scan on Monday to see if my lining is cooperating, and if it does (so many 'ifs') then I can do an FET this cycle.
