DS1 took 3 months after coming off the pill
DS2 took only 2 months after coming off the pill
and DD took 9 months after coming off the pill

Thanks again for all of your responses - they are fairly reassuring! Hopefully it doesn't take too long! One of the girls at work has told me that when we start trying I should lay with my legs in the air! It apparently worked for her after months of trying!

Conceived DD the first month off birth control.
Conceived DS by my third (very irregular) cycle after I got my period back (so just after I stopped night time BFing) without actively trying.
Conceived baby #3 the exact same way as DS (third cycle after stopping nighttime feeding) and although we weren't trying to get pregnant, we were very slack about condoms.
I'm pretty sure at this point if DP and I sit in the same room for too long I'll get pregnant

DH and I just have to look at each other and I'm pregnant
It was first month with the first two pregnancies. With this pregnancy we weren't careful but weren't actively trying either and we even used protection on occasion - once we started actively trying (the first time I paid attention to when I was ovulating), it took just one month.
I feel *very* blessed that our TTC journeys have been short and fruitful.

2 years 2 months and 9 cycles of IVF. I was 19 fit and healthy when we started trying, thought one time of unprotected sex was going to do the trick. Apparently not!

after reading all the replies so far, i'm kinda jealous that some people have such short ttc journeys. me and my partner have been together for almost two years, been actively ttc for a year and a half. never been on the pill, never been pregnant, only used protection for the 1st month of relationship (as we just knew it was meant to be - now engaged).
had my first gyno appointment and was put on elivit. got more testing to do but all our tests have come back clear so far.
what i wouldnt give to just be 'looked at' and get pregnant. honestly, you ladies are so very lucky.

3rd cycle of 'trying' but 1st cycle of real trying with DD1.
1st cycle with DD2, spur of the moment thing:
Me: 'I'm ovulating'
Him: 'Wanna have a baby?'
Me: 'Sure thing!' 9 days later I got a positive test.

DS1 was conceived after 18 months.
Angel baby was a shock surprise... DS1 was only about 5 months old.
DS2 was conceived 3 months after I came off the pill.
