Default DS just self settled for the 1st time!!!(its only taken just under 11 months)

Its our first hot night tonight (24 degrees) so for the last 2 days ive tried again to have DS self settle after his feed. He is usually fed and rocked to sleep

So last night we tried it and popped him down very awake. He yelled and laughed and kicked and squealed for about 15 minutes then cried so went straight in to rock and feed to sleep.

Tonight fed and rocked and he kept snacking and then stopping, thrashing around in my arms trying to sit up. so really not wanting to settle in the heat. tried a muslin on my arm to minimise sweat and then thought what the heck, popped him down. he kicked around and then after about 15 minutes was asleep...

    with no tears!!!

Just had to celebrate. (now how do i make it happen every night- and get him to sleep with less than 4 -6 wakes a night )

    Just had to share
