Default Brisbanites - Are you still sending your child to school today?

Is there much point? Is it safe?

Sorry. I only have NEWS.com for iPhones and it's horrific to navigate. What's up in Brisbane?

    Was it floods or something?

If I can get the boat built in time I will

I dont think I will be, the roads are just shockingly wet and dangerous. My umbrella broke last week and we'll end up sick for sure!

Come lunch time, it'll bite me on the **** when they start bickering over the TV or toys.

    Yes... Floods.

Ummm Nope. I wouldn't send my child away from me if there was any chance we might end up separated for days.

Last year when we got floods I was only ok with Steve goin to work because he's able to get back through the highlands if needed.

If I had school age children or used child care nope I wouldn't send him. I would be keeping him home and making soup . We were supposed to head to the lbrary today but we built a cubby house inside instead.

We're flooded on one of the ways to school, the other may be fine, but I think I'm just going to keep him home anyway. I don't fancy driving in this weather, and yeah, bit paranoid about the power going out again. It went out in the early hours this morning. And I have no idea how to open the garage door without the power on. Hubby called a little while ago and has decided to turn around and come home and skip work today too. He works an hour away, and 10 minutes down the road, it's already flooded, so just makes sense to stay home today I think.
