Wow for c-sect scar thinning... Do u mind if i ask how long ago u had ur other bub? (ie how long between...) I had an emergency c-sect with my lil man, and am trying to work out #2. We were thinking of TTC Next month!! But im thinking of waiting a little longer and trying late next year. As clucky as i am, and as much as i want another, on the other hand i dont think im ready.
I hope ur lil princess comes outta the SCN soon and u can master the BF and be home as a family shortly.

Hey girls we are home!!! Piper is doing really well and we have survived our first night at home! She is feeding well but I'm still offering her formula top ups til I know she is getting enough from me! I will start using an electric pump today just to increase the supply a little cause I had supply issues with ds2..I have just fed her and she refused the top up so hopefully it's a good sign that she is starting to get enough milk from me!!
Her birth was a pretty scary experience to be honest and I have no idea how long I was at risk of uterine rupture! They never checked my scar during any scans so to think that things could have been so much worse is very very scary!! My ds2 is 6!! They recommend waiting 2 years between c sections and even though I had issues they have told me they double layered my scar so if I wanted another bub I could but I would just have to wait a few years..
I hope you and your bubbas are well and I'll check back in tomorrow xxx

So I just found this thread and hope you don't mind me crashing. Congrats to all on new babies.
I have had two m/c's. One before my dd and one in June. I am now pg again but I have had some spotting and am very worried I could be m/Cing again.
The blood has been brown and pink. No cramping. I am 6 weeks today. I have a scan booked in for Monday 14/11.
I am so sad thinking I might lose another one. I have squeezed my boobs a hundred times to make sure they still hurt. Sometimes they do sometimes they don't.
Falling pregnant has not been easy either.
Just in a hole right now. Has anyone else had spotting when wiping and carried successfully?

My loss was back in 08 and I had DS after that. With both his and this pregnancy, I bled. Mostly dark, but sometimes bright with small clots and I was convinced at times I was loosing both him and this pregnancy.
So yes, you can spot/bleed and still carry successfully. I bled on and off until about 11 weeks with this one. Can't remember when I stopped with DS, but think it was about the same time.
Just rest up and try not to stress. I know it's easier said than done.

Hopeful.. omg wow! I can't believe Piper is home already! That's awesome!! My hospital don't let any babies leave until they hit 36 weeks and we had to stay until 37 weeks until he was on all suck feeds.. must prove boys are always slower lol! I hope she continues to thrive! You will have to put up a pic for us!
Ivfhopeful.. goodluck.. i hope everything goes well at your scan.. i bled on and off up until 27 weeks including some massive bleeds! There are a lot of success stories on here with bleeding and bubs being fine

OMG hopeful! That scares me And to think, bubs isnt quite 8mnths now and we were looking at TTC again next month!! Whoa! Im definately going to wait till Mid-Late next year for sure now.... Yay for being home! Congratulations! And im soooo glad to hear everything is going well with ur lil princess.
IVF - Good luck for ur scan, i know its not easy but try to relax and take things 1 day at a time. Spotting is so scary, and i totally understand how anxious u get when u see it. Theres alot of ladies in here who have had bleeding/spotting alot and continued on to ahve happy healthy bubs.
Cal - Hey! How are things going?? How are u feeling? Hope bub is growing nicely.

Things are good thanks. Been a bit anxious again, but my Dr is very good and understanding! It's funny, you'd think that after having a baby after a loss than the next pregnancy wouldn't be such a worry. Wrong!! I haven't bled for weeks, but still worry.
But I've been feeling movement for a few weeks, so that is very reassuring and everything is looking good. Scan tomorrow so find out pink or blue!!
Good luck for your TTC. A very exciting time for you, if a little scary too

hopeful!! congratulations!! she's here AND she's home...how wonderful!!! sniper's right, AWESOME birth date (not that 02/12 isn't...happens to be my birthday)!
ivf I hope the spotting slows down/stops for you and your scan shows bub is doing just fine. I know how hard it is having no control over what happens but as shadow said, for sanity's sake, one day at a time...all of us in here certainly know just how hard that is!
Hi mums and bubs I don't get in here much at the mo!
Baby boy is now 9 weeks old and such a delight! He's a wonderful sleeper (something DD never was) and usually starts his big night sleep around 7pm with me only getting up to him once at 3.30-4amish. He certainly LOVES his mummy cuddles and is at that gorgeous "gazing" stage. We constantly get lost in each other's eyes.
Hope everyone's doing great!
