22-11-2010 21:08 #282EM- OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
baby a little impatient in there obviously! from what I know though, at 35 weeks, she's cooked enough to be absolutely fine and require only minimal assistance. Best of luck, we're thinking of you and hope to hear the good news tomorrow!.
p.s. if you have her tomorrow- she'll be born on my DD's birthday! It's a great time of the year to have a baby.
Jaci- wow tough situation- i think the words here from others have been wise. You're the mother, she needs to pull back. Try not to feel guilty asserting yourself. be assertive not aggressive and frame you words about how this situation is making you feel.
Hi to everyone else!!! got to run now, DD's birthday tommorrow- got things to do.
be back later to check on Em and do some personals

omg omg omg EM!!! Good luck!!! Hope ur lil girl arrives safe and healthy And fingers crossed for an easy labour! Sux about no Mat leave though!!
Jaci - i honestly have no idea or suggestions. My mum is totally opposite. I was freaking out about EVERYTHING to begin with and she kept saying "hun just be sensible. Who cares if u have a small soft serve once a month. U cant go without everything, and these strict rules werent around when i was pregnant with you - and u turned out ok" But i agree with the others... if shes causing u to become distressed - try a little distance for a while.
AFM - loving being preggers atm. 23 weeks wednesday so ALMOST at the "viable" stage... Getting kicks all the time now...some SO strong and low im physically jumping out of my seat when he kicks! They make me slightly uncomfortable, but its SO reassuring at the same time.

Hi ladies. I am meant to be sleeping but keep popping in and out so thought I would let you know our beautiful daughter Isabelle Gwen was born at 12:59 this morning. Lucky they did a scan and realized she was breech so got rushed to theatre. I managed to go from nothing to full blown labour wt 2cm dialated&fully effaced cervix (no idea what that means but they said it should take ages in 1st time mums) in 40 min which was a bit ouchy. Now just need my legs to wake up so I can go be with my girl!! She weighed 2.480kg, not sure of tht in pounds, but she is in special care and not with me which breaks my heart! Okay ladies best I try sleep! Thanks for the well wishes xxxx

Congrats on the birth of your little princess Isabelle - what a beautiful name. I hope that you rest and recover well and that she is in your arms soon.

EM- congrats on Isabelle Gwen. Lovely name. Hope you get your legs back quickly and can go and dote on her ASAP. I think they get you up 24 hours after a c-section? then its slow moving but you'llhave that extra incentive to get on your feet. Glad to hear everyone is ok.
