No. I'd go to the RSPCA and adopt one from there

    I voted other.

Usually i wouldn't. I dispise the whole puppy mill industry although i was tempted to a few weeks ago. I felt so sorry for the puppy that was left. He had been reduced in price so much because he was growing to big so he wasn't cute any more. He was a st bernard cross lab and was a big boy stuck in a small glass cage. I almost bought him to bring him home so he wouldn't be in there any more.

No because they are over priced and fund puppy mills! I like to see the mother (and possibly father) of the animal and where they were raised before buying.... Plus u never REALLY know what ur getting (friends have been stung before - thinking they are buying pure bred and getting a x bred)

Nope I would either go to RSPCA or Animal Welfare League.

Or if you are like my other half who had to have a pure bred puppy we went direct to a breeder.

never. there are too many unwanted cats and dogs at the pound. my family always had ound kitties or dogs. i've also adopted 2 pound kitties and also a stray whom i had desexed and vaxxed before re-homing.

so sad to see pound cats and dogs who have been given away

i an't even look in pet shops anymore. they make me sick.

Nope. We'd either go to a breeder or adopt a dog that needs a home. Both our dogs are adopted (but don't tell them, they think they are our first and second born children! )

i wouldnt ever buy from pet shop either. would most likely be from an animal refuge before we bought from anywhere else.

i was at our RSPCA a few weeks ago and by gosh, the dogs were so cute. my grandmother was so close to buying one right then and there. we are gonna go back in a few weeks and see what they have there then.

Nope, i'd either adopt from somewhere or buy privately. I don't like the way they are kept at pet shops,

I never have and never will buy from a pet shop.

I've always only had cats myself but I would tour to all the pounds i possibly could and scour the local papers and billboards to find my cats.

I grew up 'dog' house hold and it was the same deal back then too, no pet shops.

    I'd rather save an animal.
