Default Hotel room in the city for 1 night near restuarant (Melb)

Does anyone know of a nice hotel in the city of Melbourne near resturants that may also offer massagers? for a 1 night stay?

I have called a few and a lot seem to have 2 night stay min.

I've stayed at the Grand Chancellor on Lonsdale Street.
You can walk anywhere from there.

    It was nice.
I just can't remember what they had to offer (it was a while ago).

I would recommend the The Como Hotel in South Yarra, which is just outside the CBD. Plenty of restaurants around Toorak Rd/Chapel Streets.

If you needed to be in the city its only 5 mins away.

If you did wish to stay in the city I would personally head over to Southbank as opposed to the CBD. Great restaurants also. The Langham Hotel is located there.

What restuarants do you mean? What area?

What else will you be doing?

I would suggest south bank somewhere; crown promonade is good value? Crown towers is lovely..

The Langham Hotel is beautiful. It's on southbank so close to lots of lovely restaurants and the hotel has a day spa! Its called "Chaun spa" - the best hope you find something!

You could try the Olsen Hotel in South Yarra- it's one of the Art Series Hotels- I stayed at The Blackman a few weeks back and i highly recommend it. Each hotel is themed around the Artist with pieces in each room.I'd say The Olsen just because they have a day spa there and the cafe/restuarant looks quite good too (and there's loads of good restaurants around the area)

But The Blackman was really lovely, the staff were great, one even stopped me in the hall to wish me a happy birthday! We took DS (6 months) and they had a portacot all set up for us, and the rooms are like serviced appartments so there's a sink, stove top, dishwasher etc which makes it a bit easier with babies too. Not sure if you're planning on taking bubs.

Also the Prince in St Kilda is excellent. They have a spa and the Circa restaraunt downstairs.

Both those options are quite exxy, not sure how much you want to spend...
