I was just interested in how you and your colleagues manage patients with known thrombophillias. Do you use clexane? or asprin? or both?
I have prothrombin gene mutation.
Also recently found I have MTHFR 677CT ( i know this one is controversial)
I have had one missed miscarriage (heartbeat on 7 week scan slower and absent by 8 weeks) and possibly a subclinical pregnancy. I have a almost 3yo daughter conceived via IVF. I have never got pregnant naturally.
Thanks for your advice

prothrombin gene mutation
I would use both clexane and aspirin in conjuction with an IVF cycle in your case. There is a study running out of National Women's hospital(Auckland NZ) in conjucntion with a Scottish study which is looking at exactly your situation, and you may wish to contact the coordinator there ( a haematologist - Dr Clare McLintock) who would be able to give you the most up to date evidence avaliable.
Hope this is of some help.
