Yep I did. My DD was a frank breech and I had an anterior placenta. But on top of that my DD managed to wedge her head under my ribs. I did end up with a c/s but only after I had laboured for over 12 hours. Her position was not picked up until my doctor did an internal when I went back to the hospital 8 hrs after my waters broke. Stupid doctor(not my doctor) at 3am told me that she could feel her head when she did first internal so I went home. My DD was born with her head flat across the front from being stuck under my ribs.

I felt lots of movement to my sides but not alot at the front due to the position of the placenta. I wouldn't worry too much about movement as the placenta will cushion most of the kicks from bubs.

As for hips, after she was born they constantly checked her hips. We had to go for an ultrasound on her hips when she was 6 weeks. And everytime we went to the MCHN they also checked her hips and so far she has no problems and she is turning 4 on Thursday.

I have since gone on to have my DS who was born VBAC and was non breech and larger that his sister.

    I hope this helps.

As long as they are picking up a HB it should definately be ok. Don't be to down about the movement because the placenta is quite large in itself so it will provide lots of cushioning at the front.
