Default What to look for in a cot?

Sorry if this has been done many times before. I looked in the product recommendations but couldn't find anything.

So the first big item I've decided to buy is a cot. I will only be buying second hand and I guess will post something similar every time I intend on buying big (unless you have a good site to refer)

So cots, what do I look for?
    Adjustable heights
    Slide down side
    Solid construction
    Mattress
Anything else? Any MUST avoid/unsafe brands?

Also, what sites do you use? Melbourne specific? I hate ebay and have been looking on GumTree.
    Any others you recommend?
What FB sites do you use?

I bought new one from ebay for $160 ex mattress. It has everything like drop side, chewing panels, adjustable height, drawer underneath, it's very solid, and I'm quite happy with it. Store called mybabyfurniture.
It was horrific to put together though, Ikea on steroids
