Default When was the first time you were away from your child?

    And who had your bubs?

The first time I was separated from DD was at 10 days old, as she was released from hospital, and I had to stay for surgery/receovery.
She went home with DH and came up for feeds/ebm until I was released.

We have never left her with anyone else, and wont be until 3 months, when she'll go to creche at the gym for 1 hour a day.

DD was around 4 weeks old and she spent the night at MIL's house.

Since then she spends the night nearly once a week so DH and I can have a night to ourselves. We started having a 'date night' but realized we preferred to just stay home and have a good sleep lol'

When DS was 13 months I got mastitis and the doctor insisted I had to go to hospital. I actually had to fight him to not call an ambulance on my behalf. So out of desperation I left DS with a friend. Ended up in hospital for 4 days, his father refused to look after him so he ended up staying with my mum.

I started leaving him with my partner from about 5 days old. Just for short periods.

He went to family day care for two days a week from 3 months.

I've not yet left him overnight, as he gets upset if he can't feed.

I have left both my children with df from the day they have been born. As in if i went for showers or something.

With dd she was 12 months until i left her and that was a daycare.
Ds df has had him 2-3 times max and havent had a full day away from him.

DD has just started staying at MIL for 2-3 nights at a time. And it is her 2nd time tonight. Hmm i miss her so much and her funny little personality

We left DS with my parents (who were staying with us at the time) when he was 1.5 weeks old, DP & I went out for lunch.
We left him overnight with them when he was about 5 weeks to go to DP's Xmas party. We left hm with them several times until he was 3 months old when they returned to the uk. Now we have no one to leave him with
