    Default Sooty, random thought!

Does anyone remember that squeaky puppet called sooty on tv? It's a vague blurry memory.... Anyone remember anything else about it?

i'm from the UK and the sooty and sweep show was very popular with kids when i was young. If i remember rightly, there were 3 puppets - sooty, sweep and sue, and an adult bloke, but can't remember his name....

    Awwww Sooty!!!

I loved him as a child, and Basil Brush "Boom BOOM!". I can't really recall much about him but am picturing him squeaking away to a man or was it another puppet? A brown bear possibly???

I'm off to investigate! Thanks for the memory trip!

Sooty, Sweep and Soo...and Matthew Corbet Well originally it was Matthew's dad, Harry who did the show

LOVE IT!!! And so do my children! My Mum has a heap of episodes she taped onto VHS when they were on TV when I was little and she's converted them to DVD!

I used to love this show.

They just don't make shows like this any more.
