Question Ideas for 1st Birthday Party food I can cook 1/2 days in advance

    Hi,

I've been asked to 'bring a plate' to my beautiful god sons 1st birthday this sunday. I have my friends hens day all day satuday (and sat night, we are staying away) so will be heading straight to the party from being away. Any ideas of something yummo I can whip up on the Friday night/Sat morning that will keep til Sunday lunch time?
I don't mind what it is, savoury, sweet etc. Maybe even something for adults and something for kids.

    Thanks in advance.

Cheescake and marsbar slice will be too hard for me hopless with sweets. I just went to supermarket and looked on the cornflakes and rice bubbles packets and got the recipes fpr honey joys and chocolate crackles.. they seem easy alright! My godness, the most horribly unhealthy snacks of all time, but HEY thats the fun of a party!
    Thanks heaps

    Mars bar slice is easy!!!

Google it and check out a few recipes....

Basically all u have to do is melt butter and mars bars, stir in rice bubbles and put that in a slice tray

then u melt some chocolate and butter and pour that over the top and fridge till set...

I can't remember exact quantities sorry
